# NovaStack Performance+

NovaStack Performance Mod is a lightweight optimisation-focused mod for Minecraft 1.21.10 designed to improve performance in entity-heavy situations while keeping vanilla gameplay intact. The mod primarily focuses on reducing performance impact caused by large numbers of mobs and dropped items. --- ## 🔧 Features - Reduces unnecessary entity processing in high-density situations - Lowers CPU usage during heavy mob activity - Helps improve frame-time consistency in entity-heavy areas - Designed to work alongside other optimisation mods - Does not modify rendering behaviour The mod does not force garbage collection (`System.gc()`), instead relying on the JVM’s built-in memory management for stability and compatibility. --- ## 📊 Performance Testing ### Test Environment | Component | Specification | |---|---| | Minecraft Version | 1.21.10 Fabric | | CPU | Intel Core Ultra 5 155U | | RAM | 16GB | | GPU | GTX 1050 Ti | | World Type | Superflat | | Scenario | 150–200 zombies in a confined area | --- ## 📈 Benchmark Results | Configuration | Average FPS | Difference vs Vanilla | Notes | |---|---:|---:|---| | Vanilla | ~177 FPS | Baseline | Default game | | NovaStack Performance Mod | ~237 FPS | +34% | Entity-focused optimisation | | Sodium | ~250–350 FPS | Higher | Rendering optimisations | | Lithium | ~190–230 FPS | Moderate | Game logic optimisations | | Sodium + Lithium | ~270–380 FPS | Higher | Combined optimisation setup | | Sodium + NovaStack Performance Mod | ~290–390 FPS | Higher | Rendering + entity optimisation | | Sodium + Lithium + NovaStack Performance Mod | ~300–410 FPS | Highest | Combined optimisation setup | --- ## 📌 Notes - Results will vary depending on hardware, settings, and installed mods - Most effective in mob-heavy environments such as farms or grinders - May have minimal impact in low-entity gameplay scenarios - Designed to complement other optimisation mods rather than replace them ---
