# ⚡ SwiftHarvest **Mine Faster, Lag Less.** VeinMiner and Timber for PaperMC. Break one block, clear the whole vein or tree, with smooth animations and zero lag spikes.

--- ## 💡 Why SwiftHarvest? Most VeinMiner plugins break hundreds of blocks at once and leave your server drowning in item entities. SwiftHarvest was built performance-first: drops are merged and sent to the player's inventory, blocks break in a smooth animation instead of a single-tick spike, and everything is configurable down to the tool tier. --- ## ✨ Features ### 🎮 For Players - **VeinMiner**: hold a pickaxe and break an ore to mine the whole vein - **Timber**: hold an axe and break a log to chop the whole tree - **Preview particles**: green particles show which blocks will break before you commit - **Break animations**: Ripple (outward), Wave (bottom-up), or Random - **Safe by design**: won't activate if your tool would break mid-use - **Fortune & Silk Touch** work exactly like vanilla ### 🛠️ For Admins - **Per-tier tool config**: set `max-blocks`, durability cost, and cooldown for each tool tier, for both VeinMiner and Timber - **Anti-bleed tree detection**: strict mode follows the trunk so neighboring trees stay untouched - **3 activation modes**: Sneak, Toggle, or Hold - **Fortune cap**: stop overpowered drops with `max-fortune-multiplier` - **World blacklist**: disable it in the Nether, End, or any world you choose - **WorldGuard support**: custom `swift-harvest` region flag - **Custom messages**: every player-facing string lives in `messages.yml` - **Hot reload**: `/sh reload` applies config changes without a restart --- ## 🚀 Quick Start ``` 1. Drop the jar into /plugins 2. Start your server (Paper/Purpur 1.21.11+, Java 21) 3. Done. Defaults work out of the box. ``` **How players use it:** hold a pickaxe or axe, **hold Shift**, then break the block. Want a different feel? Change `activation-mode` in `config.yml`: | Mode | How it works | |------|--------------| | `sneak` (default) | Hold Shift while breaking | | `toggle` | Switch on/off with `/sh toggle`, then break normally | | `hold` | Hold Shift until you hear a click, then break | --- ## 🧩 Supported Blocks | Feature | Blocks | |---------|--------| | **VeinMiner** | Coal, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Redstone, Lapis, Emerald, Nether Quartz, Ancient Debris, Copper (plus Deepslate variants) and Glowstone | | **Timber** | Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Mangrove, Cherry, Pale Oak, Crimson, Warped | --- ## ⌨️ Commands | Command | Description | Permission | |---------|-------------|------------| | `/sh` | Show help | none | | `/sh toggle` | Toggle on/off (toggle mode) | `swifthavert.use` | | `/sh reload` | Reload config and messages | `swifthavert.admin` | --- ## 🔐 Permissions | Permission | Description | Default | |------------|-------------|---------| | `swifthavert.use` | Use SwiftHarvest | everyone | | `swifthavert.veinminer` | Use VeinMiner | everyone | | `swifthavert.timber` | Use Timber | everyone | | `swifthavert.bypass` | Ignore the world blacklist | op | | `swifthavert.admin` | Reload command | op | --- ## ⚙️ Configuration ```yaml settings: activation-mode: "sneak" # sneak | toggle | hold hold-ticks: 10 cooldown: 10 # ticks (20 = 1 second) preview-particles: true veinminer: enabled: true scan-mode: "cardinal" # cardinal (6 dirs) | diagonal (10 dirs) max-fortune-multiplier: 3.0 use-tiers: false # enable per-tier limits tool-tiers: DIAMOND_PICKAXE: max-blocks: 64 durability-multiplier: 0.8 cooldown-multiplier: 0.8 timber: enabled: true break-leaves: true detection: "strict" # strict (anti-bleed) | loose max-horizontal-radius: 2 animation: enabled: true blocks-per-tick: 4 style: "ripple" # ripple | wave | random worlds: blacklist: - world_nether - world_the_end ``` --- ## 🔌 WorldGuard SwiftHarvest registers the region flag `swift-harvest` (default: allow). Disable it in a region with: ``` /region flag swift-harvest deny ``` WorldGuard is optional, and the integration turns on automatically when it's detected. --- **License:** MIT • **Version:** 1.3.0
