HeavySword introduces a unique weapon to your server that blends the appearance and speed of a stone sword with the powerful smash attack of a mace. ### The Sword Mechanics * **Aesthetics & Attributes**: Looks like a stone sword, is completely unbreakable, and maintains the fast attack speed of a normal sword. * **Cooldown Bypass**: Automatically bypasses mace-cooldown plugins since it is internally treated as a stone sword (STONE_SWORD). * **Smash Attack**: Fall more than 1.5 blocks onto a target while holding the blade to deal mace-style bonus damage. * **Visual Lightning**: Each successful smash strikes the target with a visual-only lightning bolt (no fire, no extra damage, ensuring loot is not burned and the attacker is not harmed). * **Fall Damage Prevention**: Fall damage is entirely cancelled when a smash attack is successfully landed. * **Hybrid Enchanting**: * Sword enchantments (Sharpness, etc.) can be applied normally via an enchanting table or anvil. * Mace enchantments (Density, Breach, Wind Burst) can be applied in an anvil using enchanted books. * **Density**: Adds extra damage per level, per block fallen. * **Breach**: Cuts through the target's armour (adds back approximately 15% of the armour's reduction per level). * **Wind Burst**: Launches the attacker upward on a smash to chain smashes, accompanied by wind particles and sound. ### Sword-in-Stone Event * **Discovery**: Half of the glowing blade sticks out of a small rock pile in the world. * **Retrieval**: Players must punch the stone pile 3 to 5 times (randomised) to knock the sword loose and claim it. * **Visual Effects**: The blade glows while stuck in the stone and whenever it lies on the ground as a dropped item. * **Durability & Safety**: The dropped sword is immune to lava, fire, and explosions, and it will never despawn. ### Configuration (`config.yml`) ```yaml sword-in-stone: min-distance: 60 # how far from world spawn "/hs start" places the rock max-distance: 300 min-hits: 3 # punches needed to free the sword (random in range) max-hits: 5 smash: min-fall-distance: 1.5 # blocks fallen before an attack counts as a smash lightning: true # strike the smashed target with visual lightning ``` ---

The main command is `/heavysword` (alias `/hs`), which requires the `heavysword.admin` permission (default: OP): * `/heavysword start` — Spawns the sword-in-stone at a random surface spot near world spawn. Only one instance can exist in the world at a time. * `/heavysword give` — Puts a Heavy Sword directly into the player's inventory. * `/heavysword paste` — Builds a sword-in-stone structure directly at the player's feet (bypasses the single-instance limit). --- ### Installation 1. Download the `HeavySword.jar` file. 2. Place it in your server's `plugins/` folder. 3.
