The Automaton is based on different Create components. Initially has no abilities, but you get to choose three different abilities based on the three different ages in Create (Andesite, Copper, Brass) plus an extra passive (Extra Doodads)
Base Passives
Stress
- You have a stress bar, each ability will use some amount of stress so don't overuse yourself. If you do manage to overstress yourself you will no longer be able to use any abilities and will move slower until you are de-stressed.
- Stress meter ranges from 0 - 1000
- There are a few ways to gain stress
- Using your abilities
- Taking Damage
- Being below 5 hearts
Iron Clad
- You have increased max health (+5 hearts)
- You have increased base armor (+2 armor)
Heavy Machinery
- You cannot jump
- You are 30% slower
- Can walk up 1.2-block high
Auto Repair
- This gives a way for the user to "repair" themselves as natural regeneration is disabled. This passive was heavily inspired by Bastion from Overwatch
- Stand still for 5 seconds to activate Auto Repair. While active, a yellow ring will be shown around you while you repair yourself
- The speed at which you are repaired heavily depends on your hunger. The following shows the rate of repair depending on the amount of hunger shanks you have

Machine Like (Hidden)
- This passive aims to make the player feel less "organic" and more mechanical
- Insomnia is disabled for the user, meaning phantoms will never spawn for you. You can still sleep to skip the night
- Natural regeneration is disables as it felt too "organic" as machines cannot heal like people can. This means that huner and saturation no longer heals you
- Due to the changes in health and hunger/saturation, this origin will now be immune to the following:
- Regeneration
- Instant Health
- Instant Damage
- Wither
- Poison
- Health Boost
- Hunger
- Saturation
- Nausea
- Water Breathing
- Different hurt and death sounds
Fuel (Hidden)
- You can now eat coal, charcoal, and burnable logs as food
- Gives 5 hunger shanks and 6 saturation
- You can still eat regular food
Andesite Age - Primary Ability
Andesite Casing
- Adds no abilities, does nothing
Hand Crank
- De-Stress: Manually de-stress yourself instead of just waiting.
- De-stresses for 5 stress/0.5 seconds while holding the primary ability key
- Friendly Help: Other players can right click you to crank you.
- Other players can right click you to de-stress you
- Uses the same cooldown as De-Stress
Toolbox
- Toolbox: You have access to a 3x3 inventory that you keep upon death.
- Open a 3x3 inventory space
- Items are kept upon death
- No Stress: The toolbox doesn't require any mechanical parts, thus you can use it while overstressed!
- Uses 0 stress
- Can use while overstressed
- Empty Space: The toolbox requires you to have some empty space, leaving you with a little less durability.
- -2 hp (-1 heart)
- -1 armor point
Wrench
- Manual Repair: Start repairing yourself overtime without the need of standing still.
- Hold your primary ability key to start healing yourself overtime
- 0.55 second windup
- Heal 1.5 hp/0.5 seconds
- Constant 50 stress + 30 stress/0.5 seconds
- No Auto Repair: You lose the Auto Repair ability.
- Removes the Auto Repair ability
Mechanical Press
- Recoiled Bonk: Charge your press and deal massive knockback!
- Hold your primary key to charge your press, letting go will knockback entities based on how charged it was.
- 0-49: 0 knockback | 0 stress
- 50-99: knock entities with a velocity of 0.5 | 50 stress
- 100-149: knock entities with a velocity of 1 | 100 stress
- 150-199: knock entities with a velocity of 1.5 | 150 stress
- 200-249: knock entities with a velocity of 2 | 200 stress
- 250-299: knock entities with a velocity of 2.5 | 250 stress
- 300-350: knock entities with a velocity of 3 | 300 stress
- Charge at a rate of
3 charge/tick
- Hold your primary key to charge your press, letting go will knockback entities based on how charged it was.
- Iron Press: Using your iron you deal extra damage.
- +20% damage
- Heavy Iron: An entire press is pretty heavy.
- -15% attack speed
Encased Fan
- Fan Boost: Boost yourself into the air
- Hold your primary key to fly into the air, while flying you have slow falling.
- Uses 5 stress/tick
- Light Feet: You feel much lighter and walk a little faster.
- +10% movement speed
- Floaty: The constant blowing of your fans make you a little lighter and easily thrown around.
- Increased knockback when hit
Mechanical Drill
- Driller: You have a drill, you can break almost any block and faster!
- Activate your drill using your primary key
- When active:
- Can break block with a hardness less than 4
- Increased break speed
- 20 stress/block broken
- Mining Efficiency: Pickaxes act as if they have Efficiency I.
- Description says it all
- Dull Bit: Drilling requires a lot of energy, thus you exhaust much faster
- Exhaust 2x faster
Weighted Ejector
- Ejection: Launch yourself in the direction you are facing with surprising force.
- Launches you a far distance where ever you are looking
- 200 stress/launch
- 15 second cooldown
- Soft Landing: Those ejectors are really springy and cushion your falls.
- Immune to fall damage
Copper Age - Secondary Ability
Copper Casing
- Adds no abilities, does nothing
Steam Engine
- De-Stress: Manually de-stress yourself instead of just waiting.
- De-stress 300 stress
- 20 second cooldown
- *Stressful De-Stress: Destress 2x as fast when in the yellow (Stress Warning).
- Description says it all
Steam Whistle
- Wake up Call: Wake up and let out some steam! You attack faster, stronger, and harder!
- +100% attack speed
- +25% damage
- +50% knockback
- Lasts 15 seconds
- 45 second cooldown
- Uses 250 stress
- Battle Cry: For every kill you get during §6Wake up Call§r, add 2 seconds to the timer.
- Every time you get a kill while Steam Whistle's ability is active, add 2 seconds to the timer
- Steam sound after every kill
- 5 tick coodldown between kills
- Vulnerable: Iron Clad's effects are halved

Valve
- Depressurize: Naturally de-stress faster but at the cost being slower.
- Toggle a valve, when open:
- Naturally de-stressed 2x faster
- 15% slower
- When closed:
- Nothing
- Toggle a valve, when open:
Diving Helmet
- Water Proof: you can breathe and see underwater perfectly fine, aswell as swim a little faster.
- Can breathe infinitely underwater
- See perfectly underwater
- Swim a little faster
- Constant 120 stress used
- Heavy Equipment: The equipment you need to be waterproof makes you incredibly heavy when on land.
- While on land you are 25% slower
Fluid Tank
- Be able to hold up to 4 buckets of water and lava. Drink buckets to store them
- You may take out water and lava using their respective buttons while holding a bucket.
Secondary Ability-> waterLoad Hotbar Activator-> lava- 120 stress/bucket
- If you are not holding a bucket or bottle when you press your secondary ability key
- Use 10 mB from both lava and water tanks
- Create cobblestone in your inventory
- 2 stress/cobblestone
- 2 tick cooldown between cobblestone generation
Brass Age - Tertiary Ability [Save Hotbar Activator]
Brass Casing
- Adds no abilities, does nothing
Rotational Speed Controller
- Speed Control: Boost your speed at the cost of tons of stress.
- Hold your tertiary ability key to increase speed
- +50% speed
- 3 stress/tick
- Torque Jump: While sped up you can jump!
- You can jump while sped up
- Torque Shock: While sped up, if you are hurt your speed controller overstressed and needs to cool-off.
- If you are hurt while sped up, you gain 15 stress and have 5 second cooldown before you can use the ability again
Mechanical Crafter
- Crafting Table: You have access to a built-in crafting table anytime, anywhere!
- Open up a crafting menu anytime using your tertiary ability.
- 80 stress everytime you open the menu
Mechanical Arm
- Extended Reach: Your arm allows you to reach much farther than any regular human could.
- Increase Reach by +50%
- Constant 200 stress used
- Unwieldy: The way your hand is formed provides no way of holding a shield upright.
- You cannot use shields
Display Link
- Mechanical Sight: You are able to view information about Create contraptions without the use of Goggles.
- Description says it all
- Constant 150 stress used
- Nightvision Goggled: Your eyes have been given nightvision cababilities.
- You have permanent nightvision
Potato Cannon
- Potato Cannon: Shoot an infinite amount of potatoes... where do they come from?
- Allows you to shoot an infinite amount of potatoes
- 50 stress/shot
- 15 tick cooldown
- Potatoes break upon hitting the ground or an entity
- Speed of 2.5
- Divergence of 0
- Mmmm... Potato...: You only want potatos, no other fuel will suffice.
- You can only eat potatoes, not even fuels like coal or logs
- Potatoes are buffed with +5 hunger shanks
- Potatoes are buffed with +0.2 saturation
Blaze Bruner
- Super Smelter: Instantly smelt items in your main hand.
- Instantly smelt items in your main hand
- Stress gained is dependent on how much of an item you hold. A maximum of
256 stresscan be gained from a 64 stack smelt4 stress/item smelted
- 5 tick cooldown
- Fire Resistant: You are built with high-heat resistant metal. Fire cannot hurt you.
- You are immune to fire damage (not lava)
- Doused: The blaze in you doesn't like water much and gets doused.
- When in water take damage
- 2 hp/second when on a difficulty above Sasy
- 1 hp/second when on Easy difficulty
- Super Smelter gets disabled in water
- When in water take damage

Cover
- Does nothing
Stressometer
- Displays your stress as a numeric value instead of a bar
Speedometer
- Displays your speed as a numeric value measured in m/s
Seat
- Allows other players to ride you
Cuckoo Clock
- Displays the in game time as a readable format
- Use the
Highlight Players (Spectators)key to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats
Flywheel
- Increases rate of stress loss when overstressed
- -1 stress/5 ticks -> -1 stress/4 ticks
Train Casing
- Decreases amount of stress gained when damaged
- 75 stress when damage -> 50 stress when damaged
Super Glue
- Allows players to climb walls, shift to stick
Item Vault
- Allows you to keep items after death
- Does not keep armor worn or anything in your off-hand, those will still drop as normal
Clutch
- A form of revival, the clutch allows a player to take lethal damage once
- When you take lethal damage for the first time, you will survive with 2 hearts and all effects cleared
- If you take lethal damage a second time, you will die like normal
- If you overstress while having the clutch, you're stress will be set to 400 and 10 hunger shanks + 20 saturation will be taken
- 45 minute cooldown, but also refreshed upon death
