Requires the Enchanting System Overhaul Mod to work!!
Note: This datapack is best suited for those who don't plan on using Copper or Amethyst as intended materials for building
Description
This datapack tweaks the "enchanting recipes" found in the "Enchanting System Overhaul" mod to be somewhat more "balanced".
The main goal with this datapack is to give Copper and Amethyst a greater use outside of decorative blocks or niche redstone purposes. It also gives diamonds additional value, as some of the more powerful enchants require it. Especially with some of the more "vital" enchants becoming quite expensive, there should be an incentive to try out a wider variety of tools and armor, both vanilla and modded
Changes made to Vanilla Enchants (and others)
- Check the gallery to see a few examples of the changed recipes, because Minecraft has a lot of enchantments!
- Farmer's Delight: changed recipe for the "backstabbing" enchantment
- The ESO mod comes included with recipes for mods such as "Sword Parry", "Frostiful", and some others... Unfortunately, such recipes remain unchanged for this datapack on the account of me not intending to play with those mods.
Changes made to Treasure Enchants and Curses
- All vanilla curses, as well as Mending and Swift Sneak, can no longer be applied to gear.
- I have yet to figure out a way to completely omit them from the enchanting list, so for now, such enchants will have an "impossible ingredient" (bedrock).
- Soul Speed and Channeling, while still applicable to gear, come at the cost of a good amount of diamonds
