Stellarity v6.0.0
We have finally moved on from v5! Even though this update isn't as big as old big updates (v3), this one still adds a lot. This updates includes new items, a new variant of the Empress of Light, a configuration overhaul, worldgen changes, and many visual and technical chances. Since this is a major update, be aware that old items MIGHT break.
Items
- Added Radiant Jewel
- Drops from the new Empress of Light variant: Radiant
- Buffs every Empress of Light item:
- Kaleidoscope: 50% chance to reduce the charge time by an extra second.
- This may be changed in the future due to new datapack features introduced in 26.3.
- Fluffy Hammer of Justice: 2x projectile speed.
- Prismatic Punch: Double explosions
- Prismember: Lower cooldown between attacks
- Starstruck Shield: Summons extra stars with increased damage. Stars also give Holy Flames instead of Prismatic Inferno.
- Kaleidoscope: 50% chance to reduce the charge time by an extra second.
- Added Flavors of The Void
- Can be caught in any biome through Void Fishing.
- Cauldron Crafting version of the Endonomicon.
- The book’s contents cannot be translated at this time.
- Name suggested by @theorenith
- Updated Dragonblade
- Now has a new inventory icon and 3d model
- Resource Pack and Nullscape Compatibility Addon icons have also been updated to reflect this change.
- Updated Endonomicon
- Finally functional! Lists all recipes for the Altar of The Accursed, with the exception of Void Pendant combinations.
- The book’s contents cannot be translated at this time.
- Updated Explorer Maps
- Now use a new texture to reflect 26.3 changes.
- Updated Kaleidoscope
- Now inflicts the Holy Flames effect instead of regular fire.
- Updated Tamaris
- Now has a 3 second safe period before a player can be executed again.
- This prevents multiple people from using a Tamaris on one person at the same time, which could kill through totems.
- Now has a 3 second safe period before a player can be executed again.
- Updated Starstruck Shield
- Stars now inflict Prismatic Inferno.
- Updated Void Pendant
- Abilities now work with the Void Pendant in any slot.
- This was how I originally intended the item to work, but the “any” slot type in the enchantment definition only applied to armor and weapon slots.
- The Power ability has been fully implemented.
- Vision can now make nearby entities glow when crouching.
- There is a 45 second cooldown.
- Wisdom has been changed to have a 5% chance of dropping XP on the user when taking damage to entities.
- The old ability does not work in the new Void Pendant functionality.
- Fortitude now gives + 1 armor toughness.
- The old ability does not work in the new Void Pendant functionality.
- Removed from Dungeon chests.
- Updated to be way more common in shipwreck archeology loot.
- Abilities now work with the Void Pendant in any slot.
- Updated some items to use spawn eggs with no entity data instead of materials as their base item.
- This fixes certain items being able to be used to craft items they shouldn’t be used for. Also improves compatibility with other datapacks.
Blocks
- Added Altar of The Accursed
- You can now give yourself the Altar of The Accursed.
- Will always be the activated version, even if the Ender Dragon hasn’t been killed.
- Will drop when destroyed in Creative Mode.
- Updated Pixie in a Jar
- Now has a Radiant variant, dropped by the Radiant Empress of Light.
- Collecting all variants of Pixie in a Jar will grant the Prismatic Collection advancement.
Entities
- Updated Empress of Light
- Added Radiant variant. Summoned through holding a Kaleidoscope in your offhand and dropping a Starlight Soot in your main hand.
- Like the Daylight EOL, it's attacks have buffed stats compared to it's previous variant. However, I want to highlight a few major changes with this variant:
- Dashes in Stage 2 can now spawn Ethereal Lances and Prismatic Bolts. Dashes also have armor penetration.
- Prismatic Bolts 1 bolts last longer
- Prismatic Bolts 2 spawns more bolts.
- Ethereal Lances launch faster
- Spawn item will be changed to be something cooler in a future update, most likely dropping from the Radiant Pixie.
- Like the Daylight EOL, it's attacks have buffed stats compared to it's previous variant. However, I want to highlight a few major changes with this variant:
- Health has been increased to 750 as voted on by members of the Prismatic Shards Discord server.
- Night - 750
- Daytime - 800
- Radiant - 850
- Fully implemented healing ability. This was implemented on accident in v5.0.0, but now it’s fully functional. This ability is only activated in stage 2, and only activates 3 times in the ability loop.
- Updated Model! The EOL now has an animated model with texture differences for each variant: night, stage 2 night, daytime, and radiant.
- Her wings are also now merged with the model, so they shouldn’t be glitchy like before.
- Currently, she has four animations: idle, dash, healing, death.
- Ethereal Lances now use item models. This should help reduce client side lag while fighting the boss.
- Status messages now have different colors based on the variant of EOL.
- Added Radiant variant. Summoned through holding a Kaleidoscope in your offhand and dropping a Starlight Soot in your main hand.
- Updated Pixie
- Added Radiant variant
- 15% spawn chance
- No special drops.. for now
- Added Radiant variant
- Updated End Animals
- Now spawn naturally.
- Before, illusioners were spawned and then converted into a random animal. This created a lot of issues, such as lag and entities spawning in the void.
- Now spawn naturally.
Datapack Menu
- Added a dialog menu for configurations, commands, links, and a new item granter. Can be accessed through the main menu.
- Configurations
- Includes all old configurations.
- New Configurations:
- Every weapon, tool, trinket, fish, potion, food, and spellbook can now be toggled.
- When an item is disabled, it is disabled from loot tables, with some items having functions disabled entirely.
- Empress of Light variants, Shulking, Ender Dragon, Pixie, and Harvester Mini-Boss now have their own configurations.
- Spawning, Health, Music Loops
- Includes already existing configs
- Every weapon, tool, trinket, fish, potion, food, and spellbook can now be toggled.
- Commands
- All commands (_cmd) can now be accessed through the new dialog menu. No new commands have been added in v6.0.0, but more may arrive in the future.
- Item Granter
- There is now and item granter! By clicking on an item, you will be asked to run a /loot command, which will give you the item shown in the box. Currently, explorers maps are not included in this menu.
- Items can still be obtained through /loot and /function stellarity:_cmd/. This is another option for those who don't understand commands or would prefer everything in a menu.

Other
- Added 26.3 Support
- NOTE: After this update, I plan on dropping 1.21.11, 26.1, and MAYBE 26.2. So much stuff has broken between 26.2 and 26.3, and maintaining support while developing big changes has been annoying. I wanted to give these versions one last big update before I move on from them.
- 26.3 will continue to be supported whenever the pack updates to 26.4.

Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
