How to signal a junction
The junction signal indicate wich path is free, and protect the automated trains to engage in a occuped track. Juste before the approch speed reduction signal permit to anticipate the junction.
The annoucement signal (BAPR)
In a single track line, the annoucement signal indicate that the next signal is closed. When occuped, it also keep the signal before closed, to protect the nose to nose.
