If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
CobbleRogue is a Cobblemon Roguelike side-mod inspired by elements from popular Pokemon roguelike fan projects, such as PokeRogue and Pokemon Emerald Rogue
Features:
- If one of your Pokemon faint in battle, they're permadead. You can't access them anymore. If all of your Pokemon die, you can pick a new starter.
- Revives and Max Revives can be used to temporarily resurrect and/or save a Pokemon if they died in that battle. This is referred to as a Final Stand. If the Pokemon is out in battle, and you use them to finish the encounter, your resurrected Pokemon will become a wild Pokemon that you can then proceed to re-capture. It will retain it's level, stats, ect. If the resurrected Pokemon is not active when the battle ends, they will proceed to be permanently erased.
- Roguelike style item drops per encounter/defeated Pokemon.
- Mega Showdown support in the form of Mythic rarity drops.
- Randomized Starter
Planned Features:
- Expanded loot drop system, allowing you to pick from a list of 3 pulls.
Known/Potential Issues:
- Sometimes, if you leave the game before reselecting a Starter, it won't let you, requiring you to catch a Pokemon yourself.
Commands:
- /cobblerogue givereward
- Gives a random reward. Doesn't work with command rewards.
- /cobblerogue restartrun confirm
- Allows you to reset your party, pc, and choose a new starter. Good for if your starter gets bugged, or if you just wanna restart.
Config:
- enableRewardSystem: Pokemon give drops. True by default
- enableRandomStarters: Replaces the starter you choose with a random Pokemon per party wipe. True by default
- enableIndividualFainting: When true, all Pokemon that faint die, with the chance to get them back with the Final Stand mechanic. When false, you only lose your Pokemon if they all faint. True by default
