Welcome to CreRaces, this mod is all about different races and how these different races take on various environments, using unique abilities to either change or enhance everyday aspects of Minecraft – all while learning to overcome challenges along the way!

The Race Selection Crystal is used to change your race if you didn't like the one you initially selected on startup. However, note that it won’t work if you’ve already locked in a race, so be sure to use the Race Reset Crystal first (Creative Only).

FAQ:

1. How do I change race?
You can reset your race by either entering the command /creraces reset <username> <randomnumber> or by using a "Race changer" item. (Cheats must be enabled to use the /creraces command.)

2. Will a config be added to the mod?
Yes, the individual race configs are located in the creraces folder within your configs directory.

3. Backporting?
Not at the moment, but once the mod is finished there’s a chance it might happen.

4. Will you add physical features to the races?
Maybe. While sizes and particles are already implemented, adding features like horns or wings is tricky due to positioning issues when a player is crouching, riding, sleeping, etc. (This may be revisited in the future.)

5. I can't find some races?
Some races are hidden and only accessible by enabling Experimental Mode in the config menu (/raceconfig).

6. What is AP / AD and what do they do?
They are different kinds of scaling options. (Check the pins for more info.)

7. Porting?
Not at the moment; all supported versions are listed on the CurseForge page.

8. Fabric?
No – there are plenty of excellent race mods for Fabric already, and I’m not a big fan of the Fabric API.

9. How do runes work?
If you’re playing as the Elementalist or Elf, simply right-click with any elemental rune to gain its enhancement.

10. How do Coins work?
Coins are dropped by Undead or Illager mobs and are automatically added to your Wallet, which you can spend at the Item Shop block.

11. How do Skillpoints work?
Skillpoints are earned by converting Coins at the Item Shop block. They are used by certain races (like the Golem and Dryad) to level up specific abilities.

12. How do I move the RaceHUD?
The HUD scales with your GUI size. If it appears centered on your screen, you might be using a smaller GUI scale. To adjust, either change your GUI scale or type /racegui to hide the HUD.
