INFORMATION
This mod is meant to be used with ProtoManly's weather mod, or else it will not work.
This mod adds a way for EAS transmissions signals to be reached to a player, adding an immersive and realistic tone to the mod.
HOW TO USE
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2UvlhCo6JU)
First, obtain an EAS Block and an EAS Transmitter. Place an EAS Block next to a Weather Station (it must be adjacent), and then right click on the EAS-Block with the EAS Transmitter to 'bind' the two (you may need to shift click).
Once this occurs, any supercell/squall/tornado entering the radius of the EAS Block (not configurable at this time) will release their corresponding 'warnings' to be released among those having the EAS Transmitter
USAGE WITH RADAR WARNING POLYGON:
Next to your EAS Block, place down a Radar block that is adjacent to it. The EAS Block must subsequently be placed next to a Weather Station. Whenever a warning is issued automatically, so too will a polygon be drawn until the storm is below severe limits/left the radar area.
HOW TO RATE TORNADOES:
Select a tornado in the Damage Surveyor and click 'Survey Damage'. Your task is to right-click with the damage surveyor on specific chunks to 'survey' chunks damaged by the tornado. Once you are done surveying, do /survey finish to finish surveying. If you would like to quit early, do /survey quit.
Additional Changes Coming
- Implementation of Watches with severe probabilities
- Addition of an 'NWS' Block or sequence of related blocks, allowing one to create a weather station to accurately issue warnings and risk outlooks
ISSUES
