Rail Types

Modern Metro is a refreshed rail and minecart system which introduces variable speed powered rails, directional powered rails, and refines the existing elements of vanilla.

  • Power Rail I (4 bps)

Building Tips

  • Tracks comprised of Power Rail III through VI should be constructed in a straight line on a flat surface.
  • Use Power Rail I and II or the Accelerator Rail to slow minecarts down before turning corners or changing elevation. It is currently It is not possible to turn corners or change elevation when moving faster than the vanilla Powered Rail speed (8bps).
