Details
A mod that aims at upgrading and overhauling the basic Minecraft's tools and armors crafting with the introduction of forging to make it more engaging. Heavily inspired by the mods Hot Iron and TerraFirmaCraft. The mod was made with the aim for easy customization through the use of datapacks, and the recipe json format are based on vanilla recipe json for easy understanding. Recommended to use alongside Just Enough Items to view the recipes.
New Items and Blocks
Steel Equipments
New lines of items and equipments dedicated to steel.
Smithing Hammer
One of the two required items in order to start forging. Crouch right click with it onto a Smithing Anvil when there's a valid recipe to forge items.
Smithing Tongs
Include Iron Tongs and Steel Tongs. Hold them in the off-hand slot to not get burnt by the hot metals.
Smithing Anvil
The focus block of the mod, it lets you forge items by arranging ingredients in a 3x3 grid not unlike that of a Crafting Table. Then you need to crouch right click the anvil using a Smithing Hammer to start a forging minigame. The quality of the result items are dependent on how good you did in the minigame.
Water Barrel and Wooden Bucket
Cheaper alternatives to Cauldron and vanilla Bucket as Cauldron and Bucket now need to be forged in the Smithing Anvil.
