Poketyped origins
An origins and cobblemon add-on.
You can find a version of this mod that do not need Cobblemon here: https://modrinth.com/mod/poketyped_standalone
Add 19 new origins to the game.
/!\ This add-on replace the base origins /!\
You'll start with the Poketyped origin, this origin doesn't do anything on their own, but you will be able to evolve thanks to the little riddle in the Poketyped origin description (Or you can use the unlock method further down). The origins are aimed to be low impact to blend more with cobblemon.
This need some balances change, I'll work on it!

Type powers
Normal type
Protect: Primary active ability (60s cd), Become invulnerable for 5 seconds.
Perfectly balanced: You have no strength nor weaknesses, thus you are immune to the strength and weakness effect.
One of many: Villagers like you!
Grass type
Giga drain: Primary active ability (30s cd), Deal damage and drain health from the enemy in front of you.
Chlorophyll: You are stronger and faster under sunlight. Regeneration effect are stronger.
Fire type
Flamethrower: Primary active ability, build up fuel over time, you can spend it to throw fire ball at your opponent.
Fire immunity: You are immune to fire damage. While standing in fire or lava, your flamethrower fuel reload faster.
Hydrophobia: Water damages you.
Water type
Surf: Primary active ability (15s cd), Dive forward and gain swim speed. Suppress the effect of dry fish during the effect.
Aquatic: You have conduit power under water.
Dry fish: You are slowed down out of water.
Electric type
Thunder: Primary active ability (60s cd), mark a spot, 5s later, a lightning bolt will strike.
Nimble: You are faster.
Lightning rod:Lightning deal you no damage but raise your speed and strength.
Hyperactivity: Moving exhaust you faster.
Ice type
Blizzard: Primary active ability (30s cd), freeze people in a area around you, this power last as long you are applying freeze effect. The cooldown start once the power end.
Slush rush: You are immune to freezing effect, you are faster on snow or in your blizzard.
Chilling touch: Your melee attack apply slownezss for 5s.
Melting: You are slowed down while in hot biomes.
Rock type
Stealth rock: Primary active ability (5s cd), you throw rock on the ground, dealing damage to entity waling on it.
Sturdy: You can't be one shoted. When this power trigger, it goes on cooldown for 5 minutes.
Broken: While sturdy is on cooldown, you are slowed and weakened.
Ground type
Dig: Primary toggle ability (1s cd), you can walk through dirt and stone. As long as dig is active, you consume your dig gauge, if the dig gauge, dig turn off. While in a block, you hit harder. The dig gauge fill back quickly 10 seconds after you got out of dig mode.
Power of the depths: You are stronger while deep underground.
Vertigo: You are weaker while in altitude.
Steel type
Heavy slam:Primary active ability (30s cd), you jump then ground pound, becoming invulnerable during the fall, and launching foes upward.
Iron defense: You have passive armor
Heavy: You move slower
Bug type
Bug bite: Primary active ability (10s cd): During 5 seconds, your next attack will deal more damage and will feed you.
Numb little bug: You are 50% smaller, have less health, less range, but can climb on block.
Flying type
Acrobatics: Primary active ability (15s cd), lunge forward and deal damage. This power become stronger the less armor you have. If you have no armor point, this ability cooldown reset when it hit.
Winged: You have built-in elytra, but you can't use it with a chestplate.
Claustrophobia: You are weakened in interior.
Fighting type
Mach punch: Secondary active ability (10s cd), lunge forward on a short distance, if you hit someone, your next attack become "low sweep".
Low sweep: Throw the person you hit upward.
Close Combat: Primary active ability (30s cd), take a fighting stance, your 5 next attack deals more damage. If the 5 attack are successful, the next attack become "circle throw"
Circle throw: Deal a huge knockback to your opponent. If they hit a wall, they take additionnal damage, and are slowed for 5 seconds
Big and Strong: You are 25% bigger. Your punches deal 1 extra damage and are faster.
Punch out: Using weapon is really slow.
Psychic type
Many power: Secondary active ability (5s cd), You can swap between 3 power stance. Sneaking while using this power make you go back to your previous stance.
Extrasensory: Primary active ability (15s cd), you throw all entities around you upward. Switching out of this stance grant you slow falling for 5s.
Psyshock: Primary active ability, throw a random item at your opponent. Brick deals 7 damage, quartz deals 4 magic damage and raw iron deals 11 damage. You can charge up to three items. Each item take 2s to charge. Switching out of this stance give slowness to entities around you during 2s.
Teleport: Primary active ability (30s cd), throw an enderpearl. Switching out of this stance grant you speed for 5s.
All in the mind: Melee attack are weaker
Poison type
Venoshock: Primary active ability (15s cd), All nearby entity under poison effect take magic damage. Any entity killed by this power give poison 2 to nearby entities.
Poison touch: Your melee attack have 30% chance to give poison effect.
Corrupted: You are immune to poison, regeneration, strength and speed effect.
Ghost type
Revenant: Primary toggle ability, you can turn invisible and invulnerable, while in this state you drain your spirit gauge. Attacking, using an item or reaching 0 spirit gauge, draw you out of the revenant state. The spirit gauge fill itself slowly over time.
It's time to prey: Entities with low health are revealed to you. Killing one fill a part of your spirit gauge.
Kinda undead: Smite deals more damage on you, and you have no natural regeneration.
Dark type
Sucker punch: Primary active ability (30s cd), you ready yourself for an attack. If you are hit under 5s, the damage are reduced and you are teleported to the damage dealer, dealing them damage.
Night force: You are stronger during the night, weaker during the day. You have a togglable night vision.
Fairy type
Misty terrain: Primary active ability (30s cd), you summon a misty terrain for 10s, if you are in the terrain you are immune from most of the negative effects, and your primary ability become moon blast. Moon blast: Primary active ability (5s cd), throw a weakening projectile.
Cute charm: Enemies hitting you have 30% chance to get weakness for 5s.
Purity: Poison and wither effect are more potent on you.
Dragon type
Draco meteor: Primary active ability (15s cd), call down three meteors, exploding one by one in front of you.
Pressure: Mobs around you have slower attack speed. Player hitting you get mining fatigue.
Dragon sized: You are 25% bigger, and need to eat more.
Unlock typed origins
Normal type: In your inventory, right click a milk bucket with a glistering melon slice, removing its magic, and granting you the normal type.
Grass type: Use a leaf stone in a forest biome.
Fire type: Use a fire stone while in lava.
Water type: Use a water stone while underwater.
Electric type: Use a thunderstone while in rain.
Ice type: Use an ice stone, while in a cold biome.
Rock type: Use a diamond on an budding amethyst block.
Ground type: Use a clay ball on a bedrock block.
Steel type: While above an anvil, make another anvil fall on you.
Bug type: Use a fermented spider eye on a spider or cave spider spawner.
Flying type: Jump while at y:320 and falling 50 block afterward (don't forget to remove your chestplate so you can open your elytra)
Fighting type: Kill 50 pokemons with your bare hand.
Psychic type: Sleep outside with a dawnstone in hand.
Poison type: Eat a poisonous potato
Ghost type: Use a ghast tear while in a soul fire.
Dark type: Use a dusk stone while in a deep dark biome.
Fairy type: Give a vivichoke or a torchflower to an allay.
Dragon type: Right click the dragon egg.
