Realism Tweaks
This mod aims to enhance the vanilla Minecraft experience by subtly reworking game mechanics and adding more immersive, logical interactions. It moves away from some of the simplifications in vanilla survival, adding layers of challenge and realism.
Current Features:
-
Overhauled Hunger System: Hunger now naturally depletes over time, requiring players to manage their food more consistently even when not performing strenuous activities. The current rate is balanced for a full hunger bar (plus saturation) to last approximately 3 Minecraft days under ideal conditions (without armor penalties or heavy activity).
-
Armor Hunger Penalty: Wearing different types of armor will affect the rate of hunger drain. Heavier armor like Iron, Diamond, and Netherite will increase hunger consumption, adding a small trade-off for better protection.
-
Environmental Interactions: Expect more world interactions, such as:
- Falling anvils breaking fragile blocks like torches placed beneath them.
- (coming soon) Taking fall damage when hitting water from great heights (up to a certain depth).
- And more!
Realism Tweaks focuses on small, intuitive changes to make the Minecraft world feel a bit more dynamic and challenging without drastically altering the core gameplay loop.
