Cooked Food Bonuses
-
Most cooked food items now grant a temporary hunger usage reduction after being eaten.
-
Foods are divided into tiers (S, A, B) with different durations and effectiveness.
-
Tier S meals give the strongest and longest-lasting effect, greatly slowing hunger loss from all activities.
Expanded Anvil–Block Interactions
-
Added most relevant blocks to anvil interaction tags.
-
Falling anvils and placed anvils can now break a much wider variety of blocks based on their assigned tags.
-
Includes both drop and no-drop variants for more precise control.
⚙️ New Mechanics
The deeper you are underwater, the more damage you take when you run out of oxygen.
Most survival mechanics have been rewritten from scratch for this update.
⚙️ Configuration
Added a config menu in the in-game Mods tab.
Config changes now apply immediately without restarting the game.
🔨 Anvil System
Partial implementation of anvil block destruction.
Future beta updates will expand this feature and reintroduce the items from the old 1.21.1 version.
🍖 Hunger System
Cooked food is intended to reduce hunger drain, but this mechanic is not yet fully functional.
🔄 Migration
This update is the result of the migration from Minecraft 1.21.1 to 1.21.4.
As part of this migration, several systems had to be reworked or temporarily reduced in functionality.
🗑️ Removed / Deprecated
The Minecraft 1.21.1 version of the mod is no longer supported.
⚠️ Notes
This is a beta release, expect incomplete features and potential bugs.
The mod now requires another mod: Realism Tweaks Tag Lib.
Water Fall Damage Feature
-
Safe-Fall Threshold Preserved the vanilla mechanic: the first 3 blocks of fall distance are always safe. Only the distance beyond 3 blocks contributes to damage.
-
Depth-Based Reduction Tiers
1–2 blocks deep → 25% reduction
3–5 blocks deep → 50% reduction
6–9 blocks deep → 75% reduction
≥10 blocks deep → 90% reduction
-
Slow Falling Immunity Players under the Slow Falling effect are fully exempt from water-entry fall damage.
-
The ability to disable the entire water damage function has also been added by switching the realismtweaks.toml file in the config folder from true to false.
MOD IS NO LONGER SERVER SIDED
Version 0.2.1.0
- Added new item: Pebble.
- Added new item: Charcoal Chunk.
- Introduced a basic recycling system:
- Planks and various stones can now be broken down into Pebbles and Charcoal Chunks (for stones use stonecutter).
- Pebbles can be combined back into Cobblestone, allowing stone to be reused — though with a small material loss!
Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where hunger drained while swimming as if the player was sprinting.
