Scaffolding extension is a server-side mod. Clients don't need the mod to connect to servers with it, and it works in singleplayer.
Scaffolding Extension adds a single gamerule, scaffolding_extension:limit. This allows you to configure how far scaffolding can reach without support.
Set the value like you would any other gamerule, using the command /gamerule scaffolding_extension:limit followed by a value between 1 and 63. The default value is 32.
This mod is only required server-side: clients don't need it to connect to servers that have it. It also works in singleplayer.

This mod is only for Fabric (works on Quilt, too!) and I won't be porting it to Forge. The license is MIT, however, so anyone else is free to port it.
