Sophie's Alloys is designed to revamp how tool progression operates within vanilla Minecraft. Bountiful amounts of new materials can be found within the Overworld, Nether, and even the End to craft your tools and armors, incentivising mixing and matching those materials to create better sets of equipment to aid on your adventures. Perhaps one may wish to use Mithril Boots over Diamond Boots, but a Diamond Helmet over a Mithril one?

This mod also relies on Create for the time being before I (Sophie) am smart enough to make recipe types in the way I like. Sophie's Alloys is not intended to be played with Tinker's Construct, nor does it have direct support for it.

I heavily recommend using a recipe viewer mod such as REI or JEI until I properly set up recipe advancements and the GitHub wiki. This will help a lot with figuring out how to upgrade your tools.
