Virtual Additions

This mod adds lots of content across various different aspects of the game. New blocks to build with, new mechanics to play with, and more can be found in this mod.

Many of the mechanics found in this mod are based on those found in some other mods throughout the game's history, but redone in a way that I feel would fit in with Vanilla.

Installation and Usage

Ensure that Fabric Loader and Fabric API are both installed correctly.

Download the mod from the Versions tab found above.

Then place the downloaded file into your .minecraft/mods folder.

To enable some extra content, there are a few datapacks that can be enabled in the world creation screen.

• VA Enhancements makes some changes to the vanilla game to better incorporate Virtual Additions content. This datapack is enabled by default when creating new worlds. This also exists as a resource pack, containing for a few changes to textures and models in vanilla.
• VA Preview functions similarly to the experimental toggles in Vanilla, and will enable some content that is in development and may be finished in the future.
• VA Worldgen only modifies Surface Rules, and will be removed once I implement them into the mod directly.

Q&A

• Is there a version for Forge / Will you update to a specific MC Version?

I personally will not be making a version of this mod for Forge, nor will I release updates for any version before the latest. The source code is available on Github, though, so feel free to give a go at porting the mod to your loader and version of choice.
