Changes made for pre-release 3:

Okay, last pre-release I think... Custom attributes coming back for official release.

For those of you who know how to use NBT Explorer: If you copy the chunk data in your save folder to a freshly generated world on the same seed, then use NBT Explorer to copy your player data to level.dat you can recover your world if it gets corrupted between updates. Forge & Mods:

• Changed Forge defaultconfig folder location
• Updated any outdated mods
• Updated & optimized scripts
• Refactored a lot of custom data & logic
• Added "Unflavored Pipes" mod and customized accordingly
• Added "Computer Craft" mod and customized accordingly
• Added "Umbral Skies" mod (a link mod between Aether and Twilight Forest)
• Replaced "Inmis" mod with "Simply Backpacks" mod (Inmis was a connector loaded mod)
• Replaced "EMI" mod with "REI" mod
• Suppressed unnecessary logs from many mods
• Removed unnecessary / obsolete custom textures / optimized texture sizes
• Removed many backend calls and data for removed features
• Removed the following mods:
  • Sinytra Connector and associated libraries (good riddance)
  • Dungeons enhanced (Buggy structures and half of them were disabled anyway)
  • Explorify (These structures were pointless)
  • Fletching table mod
  • Nostalgic fishing (Obsolete, I am handling the loot tables myself)
  • Entity texture features
  • Entity model features
  • Animatica
  • Configured
  • Polytone
  • Libraries associated with removed mods

(Was not noticing any difference in custom textures with and without mods that add optifine / texture compat)

Audio & Visual:

• Updated textures for a large handful of items & blocks (Vanilla & mods)
• Added classic block placement for a handful of blocks with alternative orientations
• Adjusted entity distance
• Adjusted biome, sky, and fog color calculation
• Adjusted third person angles
• Removed UI clutter from a few mods
• Minor UI changes
• FOV effects enabled by default (because some people cant tell if they're sprinting?)

Gameplay, Items & Logic:

• Creative mode officially supported (Categories could be better, but it works)
• Revised stamina system
• Revised & optimized world generation (structures, biome placement)
• Revised loot tables and drop chances for a handful of pools
• Raised monster spawn cap
• Adjusted block collision for a handful of items
• "Cherry" related items are now named "Blossom"
• Waystones no longer spawn naturally
• Removed infested type blocks
• Removed Fletching Table

Bug fixes:

• Fixed texture reload on start causing menu music to not play
• Fixed potions / items with potion nbt from spawning in loot tables
• Fixed typo in loot table changer that allowed for "Steeleaf" armor and tools to spawn with enchantments
• Fixed unobtainable loot spawning from modded structures
• Fixed Nether Gold Ore spawning in Nether
• Fixed music not playing
• Fixed recipes for a handful of items that were either missing or broken
• Fixed colors for leather items
• Fixed colors for Nether related items
• Fixed kelp not spawning in overworld
• Fixed Smoker and Blast Furnace from being recommended under fuel tags in REI
• Fixed prismarine crystals being painfully obtainable (break coral for shards and crystals)
• Fixed removed machines & crafting methods from appearing in crafting recipe menus
• Fixed items displaying impossible recipe alternatives
• Fixed name for pumpkins
• Fixed a few statistic entries

Known issues:

• A small handful of blocks / items with NBT will spawn even though they are removed (cauldron, soul torches, some hanging blocks)
• Swet Banner and Ominous Banner still appear in REI menu
• The "When the stew is sus" achievement appears. Caused by some mod. Didn't really look
• The "Rescue Ghast from Nether" achievement uses a removed item as its icon (ghast tear)
• A few entries in the statistics menu are in reference to removed content + bugged statistic exists
• Horizon color during sunrise/sunset covers a large portion of the screen at low render distances
• Trials with removed mobs auto-complete & give rewards upon activation
• Spawners containing removed entities can sometimes still spawn (but do not spawn the entity)
• Structures removed consequently as a result of removed biome / content will cause the search command to hang infinitely
• Pipewire / engine audio on (Arch) Linux based distros makes audio crunchy sometimes (just do F3+T to fix it)

Future plans:

• Re-add custom attributes
• Add more classic block placement logic for thre following: stairs, slabs
• Revamp / update loot tables to make them more rewarding
• Remove custom b1.7.4mod and see if hardness values can be modified through KubeJS
• Re-introduce The Warden (and content), and The Wither (and content) as Nether only bosses
• Clean up Twilight Forest unfinished items
• Revise supplementaries features
