Optimized for better performance, more FPS
The nights are dark, be sure to build shelter before the first night!

- Now you will fall through leaves
- FPS will drop when in Biomes with alot of leaves
- This build should be compatible with the previous Beta's. But new blocks and features will be spawned in newly generated land.
This modpack is still more optimized for mid/high end systems. Make sure you allocate a minimum of 10 GB to JAVA.
- Distant Horizons is disabled for now. I can't decide if i will bring it back again to this modpack. I like how the modpack now looks without DH. If you want to use it you can just enable it.
Let me now on the discord if i should continue with DH or not.

I was surprised that most of the world gen mods were already updated to work with MC 1.21.4 so decided to go with MC 1.21.4 and rename my modpack to Distant Worlds Beyond. A few mods from previous version are not yet available so i decided to choose a few different mods that are available to make the survival part a little more intense.
The bad part is that an old world save game from previous version probaly not going to work with this new version.
To sumup:
- MC updated to version 1.21.4
- Most of the previous world gen mods are back
To make the survival part more intense i added these mods:
- Deeper Dark
- Horde Nights " :o "
- Tough As Nails
- The Afterdark
- The Pale Garden Remastered
- Illager Invasion
But also to give you a way to fight these:
- Grindstone Sharper Tools
- Combat Nouveau
- Campfire spawn and tweaks
- Spellbound Weapons
And if it's too intense:
- Plushie Mod

Fancy Menu V3, this is my choice to adjust the menu's. Not much changed yet except the title music. For the title music I choose a track that I generated using AI. Maybe in the future a custom title page will be added.

Added some extra add-ons for the Alacrity resourcepack.
I did a bit more bug hunting for this version, but there are still a few annoying bugs that i'm not able to find. If someone can help me fixing these bugs would be greatly apreciated. Please leave suggestions in the Discord.
So a few take aways for this version:
- All mods to latest version
- Last week the RPG classes were release for 1.21.1 so these are now added to the modpack
- some more farmers delight mods are added
- Also When dungeons Arise: Seven Seas is back in the modpack
- Did some swaps with resourcepacks, but if you like the look of the previous version these are also still available
- Better combat has also just been released for 1.21.1 so also added
- Also the fantastic Oh The Biomes We've Gone is added the world generation is now even more epic :D

New release for MC 1.21.1
This is a different version compared to the Max release!
Some of the mods included are not yet official released on MC1.21.1 this means that bugs and crashes can happen.
I spend some time optimizing it.
Distant Horizons is not included yet.
For me it runs nice and smooth with some nice epic worldgen.
When you start a new world youre first goal should be to get fresh water. This can be done by placing bottles of waters on a campfire.

Biggest update ever for this modpack.
Made the modpack more challenging. But World gen is still epic and awesome.
A few key changes for this version and future versions:

Dehydration added -> So you need to keep hydrated with clean water

Scorchful and Frostiful added -> Enviromental conditions will affect you now. Stay warm in cold enviroments and cool yourself in warm enviroments

The mod "Mine Treasure" could be removed in the future, it could make the modpack to easy.

Also busy with adding quests to guide you through the modpack. The basic quests are just in, but this part is still a long way from done.

For this version i decided to go back to MC V1.20.1. This allowed me to use all the mods that i think fits the theme perfect. I spent alot of time tweaking and having fun play testing :D

A stable version for Distant Horizons has been released for MC1.21. The bad news:

Distant Horizons impact the performance severly, causing on my system a drop from around 100 fps to only "if youre lucky" 50 fps.

Because of this i disabled the Distant Horizons mod. It's still in the modpack, so if you want to check it out just enable it.

Distant worlds v3.1.0
- For now i will settle with the world-gen as is. The world gen is very epic. I'm still waiting for more mobs / bosses to be added to this world, and also some kind of quest system. Also still looking for a way to share the resourcepack as is without the need for the options file.
