NOTE: Modpack will always crash upon first startup. This is normal! It's a known bug of Sinytra Connector, running it again will resolve the issue easily.

2.0.0's changes are significant, with reworks across the entire board. Here's some blurbs of what have changed:

Performance:

Through removing some of the more taxing mods and fine tuning the benefits, the pack's performance is well above 1.0.0's, enabling more room for polish and playability. Along with this comes the capacity for more weighty exploration, through..

Distant Horizons:

The driving force behind much of the pack's new goals, Distant Horizons adds purpose to your exploration and quite literally enables you to see your creations, landmarks, and where you want to go next thousands of blocks away with little to no performance impact.

Dying is Cool Now:

With such a large world to discover, oceans stretching far and wide, dying has come with some more quality of life. If not near a bed, you will spawn within a ~100 block radius of your death (in the overworld) and in a temporary form of ghostly speed to reach their grave.

In Game Guides:

With a still substantial amount of content to explore (and more on the way), there is a need for documentation. Through flavored books you can craft or discover, you will be able to learn about the pack's many unique systems.

Custom Submissions:

With such a large pack, player submissions for photography (either for the pack's Modrinth page, or the loading screen) are takin in the discord image channel! This also applies to panoramas, as well as ingame Patchouli guidebooks as mentioned above, and anything under the sun! Contact me for more clarity if you're interested.

Server Wipe:

And finally, with this comes a wipe of the official server. The world is mapped, pregenerated, and with an expanding border to encourage further exploration over time. Go discover things. Ask questions, and get your answers!
