Seasons!
A Forest biome backdropped by a Monolithic Extreme Hills biome during Autumn

Rainforest Biome
One of the new biomes in Pre-Release 2, rainforests contain Birch, Oak, and Dark Oak trees, alongside Giant Mushrooms!

Monoliths towering above the clouds
Extreme hills biomes are... extreme. Going as high as 256 blocks up, it's a good thing these biomes are rare!

Monolithic Extreme Hills
An extremely rare biome, the Monolithic Extreme Hills use the standard Beta 1.8 extreme hills noise (equivalent to standard Beta 1.7.3 noise) applied atop the standard noise, leading to a "Double Height" beta terrain generation, spanning as high as 256m!

Jungle Biome
Jungles are denser and more vibrant, but rarer than before. They now have 5 wood types in them!
