Details
Noelle's Monumenta Modpack is a collection of mods specifically tailored to benefit your user experience playing on the Monumenta server.
Being built ontop of Additive, a modpack designed to be an Optifine Alternative. Since Monumenta's Resource Pack is built using multiple of Optifine's Features (Custom Item Textures, Custom Entity Models and Random Entities), and OptiFine is largely being outclassed by modern day performance mods, this pack was created to help maintain full functionality of the Resource Pack while offering good performance and a handful of mods that are tailored for an improved Monumenta experience.
Important Note regarding the Resource Pack
As of June 3rd, 2023, the current version of Monumenta Resource Pack (v. 4.2.0) does not yet have full compatibility with this modpack. For the time being, you will need to use the No Optifine Edit version of the pack. This will be remedied with Version 4.3.0.
Installing with Third-Party Launchers
This pack is specifically meant to be used with Third-Party Launchers that support the .mrpack format, such as Prism Launcher (what I personally use).
If you already have Prism Launcher set up and use it, here's a tutorial on how to actually install the pack through there (borrowed from Additive's website)
- Click “+ Add Instance”
- Click the “Modrinth” tab.
- Select "Noelle's Monumenta Modpack".
- Select the version you want at the bottom right of the dialog.
- Click “OK” to start installing.
- Open the instance to play!
Alternatively, you can download the .mrpack file from the website and you should be able to drag and drop it into your launcher to install it. I believe this works with other launchers like MultiMC.
Installing in the Vanilla / Official Launcher
Currently, with the way the modpack is set up, I don't believe this is currently possible. This is something I will look into supporting in the future, but I personally wouldn't expect it for a decent amount of time.
