Betrayal SMP Structure Addon

A datapack addon for Betrayal SMP that adds custom buried treasures, treasure maps, and randomized progression loot to the Overworld.

Find a treasure map, follow it, and uncover a buried chest containing one of four different treasure types.

Custom Buried Treasures

Custom buried treasure structures generate throughout the Overworld.

Each treasure randomly contains one of:

  • Tools
  • Armour
  • Enchantments
  • Utility

Treasure Maps

Treasure maps can be found in several structures:

  • Toolsmith Chests — 100% map chance
  • Weaponsmith Chests — 100% map chance
  • Cartographer Chests
  • Abandoned Camp Barrels

Maps use Minecraft's built-in exploration map system and lead to custom buried treasure locations.

How It Works

Find a Map → Follow the Map → Locate the Treasure → Open the Chest → Get a Random Treasure Type

The treasure structure stays the same, but the loot inside is randomly selected when the treasure generates.

Compatibility

Minecraft Java Edition 26.3

Built and tested for Minecraft 26.3.

Older Minecraft versions are not supported.

Installation

  1. Download the datapack.
  2. Place the .zip file in your world's datapacks folder.
  3. Start or reload the world.
  4. Run /datapack list to confirm it is enabled.

Designed to work alongside Betrayal SMP.
