Bring the drive to life

Automobility: Autoradio adds synchronized vehicle radio, a fast station wheel, spatial multiplayer audio, a compact now-playing HUD, player-owned Custom music and portable Party Speakers to Automobility. The single public download includes five built-in stations and fifty tracks, ready on first launch.

On the road

• Drive a supported Automobility vehicle and tune the cabin radio.
• Passengers hear the cabin mix while nearby players hear positional audio.
• Track and station changes stay synchronized through the server timeline.
• Tap F7 to cycle stations or hold it for the station wheel.
• Use N for the next track (F8 when Simple Voice Chat already owns N), F9 for Custom and F12 for full device controls.

All controls can be changed in Minecraft's Controls menu.

Five built-in stations

A fresh radio starts on Autobahn3000 with I Wanna Ride — Argules. Each station uses a shuffle bag, so all ten tracks play once before reshuffling without an immediate repeat.

The release audio is normalized to −14 LUFS with −1.5 dBTP headroom and encoded as stereo 48 kHz OGG Vorbis at q4 (quality 4). Raw masters are not included in the public archive.

Party Speakers

Craft the black Party Speaker or recolor one with any of Minecraft's sixteen dyes. Carry it, place it in the world, name it, choose its audible range and access mode, and configure redstone behavior. Its RGB lighting follows the audio that is actually being decoded.

Your own Custom station

Add local OGG, MP3 or WAV files from the Custom screen. The station stays hidden until it contains a valid track. On multiplayer servers, nearby listeners can allow or block player-supplied audio per server. Transfers are bounded, chunk-checked and verified by SHA-256; local file paths are never shared.

One download, preserved rights boundary

Install the matching Automobility: Autoradio full JAR on each client. The same JAR may be installed on a server for authoritative shared emitters and Custom-track relay. Its built-in music remains inside an unchanged, client-only Rosenvik Stations JAR nested in the public archive, so dedicated servers do not initialize or decode the station pack.

The nested pack remains a mixed-rights collection rather than being covered by Autoradio's code license. Its code and original artwork, Rosenvik recordings, the directly permitted Argules recording and CC0 tracks retain their respective terms. The nested JAR includes the content license, public credits and rights ledger.
