ABOUT
This pack aims to redo almost every armor in the game to be as similarly detailed as Netherite armor, as well as giving Chainmail armor a fresh coat of paint because I just really didn't like that texture in Vanilla.
If you feel like the Chainmail is too much, feel free to go into the pack's "humanoid" and "humanoid_leggings" folder and delete both of the chainmail.png textures if you wish, I don't mind. This is not justification to reupload my work in any way, shape, or form, however.
Each armor material is unique in their own various ways and all try to remain within the confines of the look and powerful feel of Netherite armor. Much like how Netherite armor has Greek inspirations, many of my new armor textures take inspiration from real world historical armors.
DESIGNS
Gold armor is based on armor worn by the Ancient Romans and is made to look more regal.
Iron armor is based on armor worn by Vikings and is made to appear scrappy.
Diamond armor intentionally doesn't stray too far from its Vanilla design, it's just made to look more like Netherite Armor.
And lastly, Chainmail armor is made to just generally look better and tie back to real chainmail.
Here are all of the armors lined up, plus an umodified Netherite armor set for comparison.
I've also ensured the textures have as much compatibility with Armor Trims as possible.
