- Reduced texture sizes.
- Reduced file sizes (entire pack half the size).
- PBR/normal map "fixes" (yes know some still awful).
- Massively more efficient.
- Fixed some (but nowhere near all) normal and specular maps to work with recent changes.
- Less costly.
- Birch is more black and less shiny (this still needs work and gone too far perhaps).
- Terracota Logo Major fix.
- Quartz and other textures less shiny.
- Should better balance on wider range of shaders (was too much on a lot of shaders).
- 1024*1024 textures have been made smaller and improved. But still some shocking stuff in there...sorry! But this is an improvement and less likely to break your machine and will perform much better (and look better whilst being lower resolution).
Performance Update & Tweaks
Multiple performance updates for next round of testing with other resource packs and data packs.
- Flat texture dimensions decreased, decreasing file size, reducing memory, and more efficient
- Glass more efficient.
- Prismarine more efficient - However is still glitchy with some shaders, we know this, but less performance hit when tested both with Conduit Remastered and solo.)
- Minor updates to various models and PBR, some purely for testing. Remember this is alpha, and we know there's mistakes. In fact a lot of them are entirely deliberate mistakes for performance testing and comprisons between shaders at a minute level, and trying things out. On full release they will be optimised and cut down in size.
- Additional hanging roots texture added (no _n or _s) from the "Warped" texture pack to allow overrides for testing and to work with The Time Machine as this will be released before Warped. _n and _s will be added.
- Unused incorrectly named texture removed.
- Colouring and minor changes for testing for "Talon" / "Bird Of Time" / Parrot
v0.5 - This is for early testing and we know the failings. But this is what is used (along with other packs) in all screenshots and videos - despite those failings.
Better versions incoming...
