Latest Updates
2.3 Lets just imagine all the chaos that happened until now was just a dream, because the pack is now playable! Yeah in 2.2 you could not open the game with any of the TH/CH resourcepacks on. That and many other optifine related bugs have been fixed. Also some mobs have been modified too, here's the changelog:
- Fixed a toooooon of bugs, mainly models not appearing when using optifine
- Modified the spider and cave spider model and texture
- Updated the magmacube to have a decent texture
- Added cold and warm variants of the pigs
- Remade the guardian to have a decent texture
- Remade ghast model to be animated when dying when using optifine
- Remade creaking, piglin brute, snowgolem and stray, that didn't work with optifine
- Added cracks to shields based on durability! And it does not require optifine!!! But its only for 1.21.5+
Description of the pack
This resource pack changes the texture of all hostile and neutral (non-real) mobs based on their health! Also with a built in addon you can get every other neutral and pacific mob that has not been added in the base game (not really, some are missing)! For a total of 350+ new variants!
I made it because I think that seeing a bar above every mob doesn't look as good as its usefulness. Also this way you can know how many sword swings you need to kill your enemy without breaking the immersion. For example i coded the zombies to have a different texture for every wooden sword swing
Some mobs also have animated blood, look how cool it is
Another thing is a bit of usefulness in PvP, with cracking armor and shields, that can be turned off if you don't want it using the Respackopts mod
The pack is made for 1.21.5+. If you want to play with versions below 1.21.5 of the game, you can still use 2.3 and mobs should still work the same, but its not guaranteed that there won't be problems with some entities. I still try to make the pack as compatible as possible to all those versions.
Actually with how good i am at making bug-free resource packs this message could also be applied to 1.21.5+
Others
This project has a version that uses Fresh's Animations; found over here
Another version of this is Compatible Healthbars: it's still a work in progress and only some mobs are there, but as the name suggests this pack is compatible with ANY mob retexture, without the need to create an addon just for that, so it can work with things like programmer art or any of those packs that usually don't change models, found over here
Also under the versions list there is a file with all the Addons from Green Bleed to Ills Kills, as suggested by The Great Magispeller and MorrisHD on Planet minecraft.
These Packs are perfectly compatible both with TH and it's counterpart with Fresh's Animations, but the order in which these are put can change the way they work, so preferibly you should put them like this, where Green bleed just represtents an addon in general.
These addons are also integrated in the pack itself, and can be toggled using Respackopts, as well as some other fun things that you might not want
It is also the only way for now to enable addons for Compatible Healthbars
Known Issues
-TH is incompatible with Epic Combat, that is the mod's fault i cannot do anything about it
Planned
-Continue "Compatible Healthbars"
How about Bedrock Edition?
Luckly for you, a really cool dude called Akazq just ported the ENTIRE pack from java to bedrock, found over here
