Enchanting Overhauled updates Minecraft's enchanting system with new structures, items and mechanics! Most notably, the Enchanting table has been completely revamped!

Details
- Enchanted Tomes are a new type of enchantment container, much more powerful than Enchanted Books.
- Unlike Enchanted Books, Enchanted Tomes are persistent and not consumed on use.
- They also contain much stronger and more numerous enchantments than their book counterparts.
- Such vast power and utility cannot be crafted by mere mortal hands, thus finding an Enchanted Tome can prove to be quite the adventure!

Details
- The default Enchanting Table has been removed and replaced by the Enchanting Altar.
- Enchanting Altars come in 3 flavors: Deactivated, Disturbed and Activated.
- Access the new Enchant Menu by interacting with an Activated Enchanting Altar.
- The new Enchant Menu allows you to upgrade, transfer and apply new enchantments to your tools and armor.
- Don't like the enchantment selection the Enchant Menu presents you with? Just Turn a Page over!

Details
- Some spells cannot be uttered infront of an Enchanting Altar, not without the right source of Power, that is.
- Introducing Enchantment Themes: some enchantments have been lost to the sages of the overworld and must be rediscovered.
- Perhaps artifacts from other worlds can feed the arcane hunger of the Enchanting Altar and allow it to touch other kinds of magic?

Details
- Archeologists have discovered a new structure, long thought lost or mere myth, in the overworld.
- Join them and discover what secrets are kept within the once pristine halls of the Ancient Libraries!

Details
- A shift in the astral plane has bestowed a boon of clarity on the inhabitants of the overworld.
- With their minds sharper, learning has never been easier, reach your full potential faster and pour your soul into your tools!

Details
- The banishment of the Enchanting Table has also affected the Anvil and cut its ties to the arcane!
- The Anvil no longer requires XP to be used, as it always should have been!
- However, Enchanted Books can no longer be used on the Anvil, thus gone are the days of hammering your books!

Details
- The new astral clarity has revealed a fundamental truth: arcane matrices become unstable with too much power! Items can now only sustain 3 enchantments (though curses, as always, find their own way to stick around).
- After much debate, the Conclave of Enchanters has voted to rename "Bane of Arthropods." The spell is now known by the more direct (and satisfying) name: Extermination.
- Arcane power has been concentrated! All leveled enchantments now reach their full potential at Level III.
- As a glorious consequence, Sharpness, Smite, Extermination, and Efficiency now feel much more potent at each step!
- The Protection enchantment has been sundered into two distinct spells: some sort of "Physical Protection" and a spell which could best be described as "Magic Protection"!
- Such powerful defensive magics must be anchored to the body's core! All Protection-type enchantments may now only be applied to Chestplates.
- The ancient paradox has been solved! Sages have finally figured out how to create an Infinite supply of Flaming arrows.
- Why shoot one piercing bolt when you can shoot three? Multishot and Piercing have set aside their differences.
- Enchanters have brokered peace between the warring magics of water-walking and water-swimming. Depth Strider and Frost Walker can now coexist on the same pair of boots.
- The Enchanting Altar does not discriminate, all tools are considered sharp weapons, and as such now support Damage increasing enchantments.
- The Frost Walker incantation has been strengthened, allowing its user to confidently tread upon the treacherous surface of Powdered Snow.
- It seems Aqua Affinity was always meant to attune the whole body. It now clears the murky depths from your vision, granting perfect clarity while submerged.
- The enchantments themselves are eager to be understood! All spells now provide a handy description in their tooltip, though try not to read between the lines, we don't truly know what we're messing with.
- Added a new Advancement for activating an Enchanting Altar.

Details
- Don't like the mod defaults? Change them in config/enchanting_overhauled.properties!
- Don't like editing your config manually? Configure Enchanting Overhauled in Mod Menu or NeoForge's Config Editor!
- Configuring becomes tedious fast? Certainly not with /reload !

Details
- Are you a mod or modpack dev and would like introduce compatibility? Enchanting Overhauled now features a data driven API! Add new enchantment themes, assign themes to other enchantments, add or change enchantment descriptions, all without a single line of java code!

Details
- The isometric renders were made using glisco's Isometric Renders mod.
- The fabric config file is managed by a modified version of magistermaks simple-config.
- Versions 2.0.1+ were created using jaredlll08's MultiLoader-Template.
