Gelarian portals (forming) can be vertical or horizontal
After waiting for the enchanted ice to convert to portal blocks, enter the portal to be transported.

Dry Ice producing smoke outside of Gelaria
Dry Ice generates in abundance in Cold Desert Peaks. When taken out of Gelaria, they produce smoke and sublime into air.

Penguins in their natural habitat, the Cold Desert biome
Native to the only biome added to the overworld, penguins are full of unique animations and also very loud, they can be bread with raw cod or salmon. Ice Spikes in the distance are not part of the Cold Desert biome but a different (vanilla) biome.

Ice stairs, slabs and walls
Liquids seen in the left are not from the Gelaria mod (this was a test world).

Madrine Moss Carpets render an overlayer over *any* full block.
The blocks below it are still functional as usual, this is merely a texture.

Packed snow and packed snow bricks
Crafted from snow blocks. All of them have Black Snow variants, Black Snow is found in the Eiwøric Wastes biome.

Gelarian portal forming in a mountain
To build a Gelarian portal, make a 3x3 frame of any ice, fill it with transparent ice and place an Enchanted Ice in the middle. They can be made larger and virtually infinite in size but each 3x3 area is made individually.

Coloured ice and snow stairs
Purple, Magenta and Pink ice generate exclusively on Gelarian Mountains biome, as multicoloured versions of Overworld ice spikes.

IJsenmader can both walk and swim
They spawn in every Gelarian (dimension) biome as well as in Overworld Frozen Oceans and Ice Spikes (only on ice).

IJsentuver in their native biome, Gelarian Mountains.
They are large hostile creatures which drop fur, bones and meat. The Fur can be used to craft beds, parkas and banners and also dampen Sculk vibrations.

Player wearing a full IJsentœf fur parka
The Parka protects from freezing as Leather armour.

Player freezing in water.
Water in freezing biomes now freezes entities as Powder Snow, unless you wear protection or is a Yeti. Cold water creatures such as salmon, cod, drowneds and squids are now immune to freezing. Zombies become Drowneds if they perish from water freezing.

Madrine Forest
Abundant blue trees and blue grass, this is the only Gelarian biome which generates transparent ice.

Eiwøric Flames
If you light Blakfrost or Darkfrost on fire, it will produce Eiwøric Flames, which whisper, deal Wither damage and freeze water around it into Black Ice, it also "burns" underwater, risking feezing the block it's in.

Creatures swimming below the ice in a Cold Desert biome.
(Overworld). The Dry Snow is a gravity block. Cold Deserts also generate in Gelaria, albeit without water.

Wooden Door
Three-blocks tall, thin wooden door, ice is placeable in the top block. Gelarian doors do not currently use vanilla door mechanics, therefore Villagers can't interact with them.

Eiwøric Wastes biome
The only non-white biome native to Gelaria, its trees are not renewable and require Silk Touch for harvesting. The biome spawns Wither Skeletons and will in the future host a special end-game structure.

Gelarian Mountains
Coloured Ice Spikes and pink-leafed trees. The only source of coloured ice blocks, the rarest and most precious one being Pink Ice.

Player with a Cold Resistance potion effect applied
The Cold Resistance protects from freezing such as Leather armour, it still does not allow for walking on Powder Snow but is intended to.

An IJsentœf looking at an IJsenmand
Both creatures are hostile but will rarely be seen in the same place.
