Details
This is for a private SMP, but I it's easy to have it here. The following is the changelog for the modpack overall:
The Modpack is completely serverside, so the installation of these mods are completely optional, the following ones can be installed to the client to enchance the experience.
Suggested Mods
Simple Voice Chat: This mod will not only allow you to voice chat from within the game, it also enables custom horns/music discs etc.
Armor Poser: This mod will make it a lot easier to pose armor stands
Item Swapper: This mod allows you to swap to similar items in your inventory from your hands.
Elytra Trims: Allows you to see the trims you can apply to your elytras.
Currency, Missions and Milestones
The world starts with a worldborder, the nether and the end is blocked off. To enable them again you need to use "Sevayic Currency". You can see and deposit to Milestones by using the ``/milestone`` command. As you unlock the milestones more of them will open up, some of them might even unlock some additional mods! Our main currency this season aren't diamonds, instead we have Sevayic Shards, Sevayic
Every week missions will be given out randomly, you need to right click a "Mission Log Block" to get your missions granted to you, which then you can use /missions
command to see this weeks missions.
Missions have 5 difficulties: Easy missions can be completed without much preparation, and they can be completed by yourself Medium and Hard Missions are harder, and require witnesses to complete.
Assigned missions are created by admins and require the person who made them to grant them to you. These missions will be given out my the people in our server working on big projects! For example if someone is working on a Zoo, they can make an assigned mission for the delivery of a Warden, we promote projects so the payment for these missions come out of the server, not the project owner.
Eternal missions are missions that you have to keep going for the rest of the server, they are generally for opening and maintaining a shop. After being paid for them if you can't maintain a shop you will lose the mission and have to pay the 1.5x the reward as a penalty.
The Sevayic Trader
The wandering trader has gotten quite the upgrade, and now it trades using sevayic materials, and all of it's trades are active at all times, it's trades upgrade as more milestones are complete and it will help you get the grindier items much easier. And who knows, it might help you get some special items as well.Side Milestones
Aside from unlocking dimensions, the Milestones will also let you unlock the following mods:Lenient Death
When you die your tools/weapons/armor will no longer drop. You still will need to go back and pickup everything else.Changes to Villagers
Villagers have once again been majorly nerfed,- You no longer get XP out of trading
- High Quality Foods (Cooked Porkchops, Chickens, Golden Carrots) are badly prepared. Meaning that they have a 10% chance to give you Hunger when eaten.
- Diamond Items Sold by the Villagers are shoddily made, they are tiered between Iron and Regular Diamond tools.
- The Librarian villagers no longer sell enchanted books, instead they sell soul lanterns, chiseled bookshelves and tinted glass.
To balance this out, villagers no longer need to restock any of their trades!
Changes to Enchanting
Not only is there revamps to the existing enchantments the modpack also has new enchants. All of these enchants but Sculk Thrive can be obtained from the enchanting table, including curses.
With the enchanting table "weakened" and the villager trades gone, there needs to be a new way to get enchantments repetably. This is where the Enchanting Trims come to play. With the enchantment trims, a book and some sevayic currency on a smithing table you can get any Max Level Book you want given you have it's trim, just like other Trim Templates these can also be duplicated.
To see how to obtain each enchantment there's a tab on the advancements screen.
New Food and Fishes?
We are planning to add more Fishes and Food to the game, sadly these features are not ready yet.For now the only one we have is that Hoglins now drop Chewy Porkchops, a porkchop that takes longer to eat and gives slightly less saturation/hunger.
Changes to Farming
Thanks to Harvest with ease, while holding a hoe you can right click crops to auto harvest them and even get some XP out of it. Better hoes have a bigger range but do keep in mind that this takes durability away from your hoe.
Hoes also have bigger ranges based on their size when tilling.
