Have you ever seen a modpack centered around a resource pack? No? Well me neither... But that's about to change now! Introducing the...

It's a fully client based modpack that is designed to enhance one of the most creative and beloved resource packs for Minecraft ever created. If you are a Mario fan believe me, you will love it. Since it's client based, you can use it on servers! (Note that in order for other players to see your Mario Mash Up skin in servers the Bedrock skins mod will also need to be installed on the server)
Features:
- The Super Mario Mash Up resource pack (obviously).
- The Super Mario Mash Up skins pack (courtesy of Bedrock skins)
- The Super Mario Mash Up World ported by CarnageTheCreator.
- Various 3D items and mobs made by RedPierrePacks
- Extra textures that are mostly used in creative mode as well as new textures introduced in the 26.2 version of Minecraft Java Edition.
- 3D Block models based on the models of Vanilla Tweaks.
- Sodium + more optimization mods.
- Iris Shaders + I Like Vanilla.
- F.L.U.D.D buckets originally made by Garrafa_de_cloro.
- Controller support thanks to Controlify.
- Multiple resource pack profiles thanks to Packed Packs, one of them being a compatiblity build with Fresh Animations!
- Skeleton death animations made by Ewan Howell.
- Datapacks for recreating the legacy console experience made by Lasting Legacy.
- Better torches+ modified to fit with the torches from the Super Mario Mash Up resource pack (Licensed MIT).
- and more!
Tutorial on how to use the resource pack profiles
Once you enter the resource pack menu you will see something like this:

By default, you will have the "Normal experience" profile selected, which contains all the new features the modpack offers minus the animations. You will notice that you wont be able to disable or change the order of the enabled resource packs. To do that you will have to change the profile. In order to change the profile you can click on the button of the upper left corner:

Once you click it you will see this:

There you will see that there are three profiles already made. The first is the default one. That's what the star on the left of it means. Then there are two more. The "Fresh Animations" has the same content as the normal experience but it will enable new animations for the players, mobs and some block entities! The third one is the "Legacy profile", it will make the game look more like it did on the legacy console edition days by disabling most of the extra stuff the modpack includes and changing the names/textures of some items/mobs to match how they were in the Minecraft Wii U edition era. If you want to change the order or disable certain resource packs in a custom way, you will have to either click the "No profile" button or create an entirely new profile with the "New" button.
There's also a profile for datapacks!
When you create a new world, you can head over to the "More" tab and then click the "Data Packs" button to open the datapacks menu. You will see something similar to the resource pack menu. There will also be a button on the upper left corner to see the data packs profiles. By default there's nothing enabled (since I wanted this modpack to be client side only) but you can enable the "Legacy Console Experience" profile to, like its name suggests, enable features that were present on the Legacy Console edition of the game, like the old nether (dont worry, you can still obtain netherite), no cooldown sword attacking, craftable enchanted golden apples, and more!
