Embers and Icicles
Features
- The Freezing effect introduced in 26.4 is now applied by Powder Snow.
- A status effect for Burning, so players have an indicator on how long they will burn for.
- Snow now obeys gravity, configurable.
- By default, Ice Balls are now dropped when mining Ice without Silk Touch.
- On versions below 26.4, the rest of the indev 26.4 drop is backported:
- The Freezing effect, which damages the player over time.
- Ice Balls, which apply Freezing and can be used to brew Freezing Potions.
- Decorative block sets, including Packed Ice Bricks, Snow Bricks, and Calcite Bricks.
- Ice Caves, a cave biome beneath frozen oceans made of bands of packed ice and calcite, with large icicles, icicle clusters, ice crystals, snow, ice cave ores, and crevasses covered in brittle ice.
- Frostbites, zombies found in snowy biomes and ice caves whose attacks inflict Freezing. Some of them throw Ice Balls. Zombies standing in Powder Snow turn into Frostbites, while Husks and Drowned turn back into Zombies.
- Brittle Ice, Ice Crystals and Icicles. Icicles grow in the dark, melt near light, and fall on whoever's below.
- New ice sounds, Water next to Blue Ice freezing into Brittle Ice, Snow on Packed Ice, Snowballs knocking back players, Mushrooms placeable at any light level, and new Wandering Trader trades.
- Most of these can be toggled in the config.

FAQ
- Will this mod be ported to other versions/loaders?
- My focus is primarily on 26.1 and above at this time, though a 1.21.1 backport was made to allow the mod a wider audience. I do not plan to backport the mod further than 1.21.1.
