Chef’s Delight — Farmer's Delight Villagers
Add-on for the Farmer's Delight mod. Adds 2 new professions to villagers: Chef and Cook.
⚠️ Important Dependency Notices
- For Minecraft 1.21 & 1.21.1 (Fabric): Requires the Farmer's Delight Refabricated mod (version
1.21.1-3.0.1or newer) to work properly. - For Older Versions (< 1.21): Requires Deprecated Farmer's Delight for Fabric.
- For Forge & NeoForge: Requires Farmer's Delight for Forge and NeoForge.
🍳 Professions

| 👨🍳 Cook | Skillet | To turn a villager into a Cook, you need a Skillet. The Cook trades simple food. |
| 🧑 Chef | Cooking Pot | To turn a villager into a Chef, you need a Cooking Pot. The Chef trades advanced foods. |
🗺️ Structures & Biomes
This mod generates structures for villager Chef and Cook in villages across multiple biomes:
- 🌾 Plains
- 🏜️ Desert
- 🌲 Taiga
- 🌴 NEW: Savanna (Chef houses)
- ❄️ NEW: Snowy / Tundra (Cook houses)
Structure Generation Tip: The default setting ensures structures do not generate in every single village. If you are using other mods that also spawn village structures, you may need to increase the generation weight in the config file. Values can be customized per biome, and setting it to
0disables structures for that specific biome.
⚙️ Configuration Files
- Config for Forge / NeoForge: A configuration file is generated in your Minecraft config folder named
chefsdelight-common.toml, allowing you to adjust house generation weights. (You can also configure this directly in-game under Mods → Chef's Delight → Config on newer versions!) - Config for Fabric: A configuration file is generated in your Minecraft config folder named
chefsdelightconfig.properties.
