You've all been waiting for it. Fresh Friends is officially back and updated to return the amazing motions of FreshLX's Fresh Animations to Talhanation's Villager Recruits, Villager Workers, and AlmightyTallestred's Guard Villagers!
This project was originally done by CoolRanchChris who has become so busy with real life, it seems as though he dropped off the face of the Earth. He and I both had this idea but I couldn't get it to work, however Chris was able to. I helped him behind the scenes a little when he first made the pack, so I have finally decided to take over its development from now on. My version of Fresh Friends is made from scratch and does not use any of the original assets or animation code from Chris' pack. All animation code was done by the amazing FreshLX, all I have done was splice it up, tweaked it, and "frankenstein'ed" it together to make it work for these three mods.
Special thanks to FreshLX for making Fresh Animations and SebSemos for helping me and giving me tips when I got stuck!
THERE ARE THREE VERSIONS OF THIS RESOURCE PACK. USE ONLY ONE.
-
VILLAGERS ONLY - Only the Villager skins for Recruits and Workers
-
HUMANS ONLY - Only the human skins for Recruits and Workers
-
BOTH - Villagers and humans fight and work side-by-side so you can finally have a mix of both!
(Guard Villagers cannot have both at the same time, as that is controlled by the mod itself)
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
- Fully animated Recruits, Workers and Guards from their respective mods.
- 20 eye color variations for Villagers and humans each.
- Animation "support" for the humans of Villager Recruits and Villager Workers (it's a modified Villager model).
- The ability to use both Villagers AND humans for Recruits and Workers.
- Special nametagged variants!
KNOWN ISSUES:
- Arms on guards from Guard Villagers glitch in their sleeves. I have found removing their weapon and giving it back fixes the problem most of the time.
- Sometimes the crossbow Recruits run in a really goofy way. Try reloading the pack, as that seems to fix it for me.
- Helmets sit at "Villager height" on the human Recruits. This is due to the armor model being assigned to the Villager head, as my way of adding support for humans was to add a human head to the Villager model and map the texture accordingly. The game thinks all recruits are Villagers, thus putting helmets at their height.
- Helmets on Workers float in place and do not follow the head animation (helmet layer has been removed until this can be fixed).
