🌅 Dawn of Time
Launched in 2019 by Poulpinou and TheGoldenWorld, Dawn of Time adds more than 350 blocks and furniture pieces to Minecraft, all designed with connected textures and a consistent vanilla-friendly style. Each cultural set (French, German, Japanese, Persian, Pre-Columbian, Roman) gives you everything needed to build from cellar to rooftop: walls, windows, doors, railings, mosaics, and even detailed furniture. The mod’s goal is simple: enrich Minecraft with architectural depth while staying true to the vanilla spirit.
Dawn of Time sits as the perfect middle ground between Chisels & Bits and Conquest Reforged, adding detail while remaining faithful to vanilla, unlike mods that push beyond vanilla boundaries. It’s designed especially for small-scale, detail-oriented builds, offering builders the tools to create immersive houses, villages, and monuments that feel authentic and integrated into the game.

Japanese Culture
The Japanese set provides everything to recreate traditional houses and zen gardens. Build with timber frames, gray roof tiles, bamboo thatch, paper walls and sliding doors, complemented by tatamis, futons, low tables, and legless chairs. Decorative details include folding paper screens with sakura patterns, paper lanterns, stone lanterns, ikebana pots, and red painted beams for torii gates. You can also design zen gardens with raked sand, stepping stones, and gravel, and furnish interiors with tea sets, sake bottles, and an irori fireplace.

Roman culture
The Roman set brings classical architecture with sandstone and marble blocks, including columns, half-columns, walls, and decorative friezes. Interiors can be enriched with frescoes, floral mosaics, rosettes, and marble coffers for decorated ceilings. The set also features roof tiles in multiple colors (orange, pearly, black clay tiles) to complete authentic Roman buildings. Decoration includes a marble statue of Mars, large marble and terracotta flower pots, birch decorative fences, and marble fences. Furniture items like the birch footstool and couch add detail to interiors, while a full range of sandstone, birch, and clay elements allows builders to reproduce Roman villas and monuments with precision.

Pre-Columbian culture
The Pre-Columbian set focuses on white and red Plasterhead Stone as its core material, complemented by many ornamented variants, friezes, pillars, and sculpted details. Builders can use columns, windows, crescents for braziers, and decorative serpent sculptures to recreate temples and ceremonial spaces. A variety of sculpted blocks, green friezes, and ornamental patterns adds richness to walls and structures. The set also includes Wheat Thatch and Rammed Dirt blocks, broadening building possibilities. Inspired by Mesoamerican architecture with a touch of fantasy, this culture is designed for creating richly decorated temples with gold accents, symbolic carvings, and unique ancestral patterns.

German culture
The German set is built around waxed oak planks and stonebrick masonry, offering everything needed for timber-framed houses and medieval castles. Waxed oak provides timber frames, pillars, shutters, doors, trapdoors, balusters, and decorative windows, while stonebrick brings walls, arrow slits, machicolations, and a fully functional portcullis for defensive builds. Roofs can be finished with flat ochre tiles, and details include chimneys, fireplaces, and latticed windows. The set also introduces stonebrick fountains with waterjets, trickles, and pools, as well as interior elements like candlesticks, chandeliers, tables, chairs, and iron fences. Together, these blocks allow builders to create authentic half-timbered houses, fortified castles, and richly detailed medieval towns.
