Details
A modpack based around adding lots of cool addons the community made and quality of life features.
Differences from Type A
- All Pokemon have been removed (and all mods that only work with pokemon such as Megamons have been removed)
- Fakemon packs have been added
- That's literally it, but trust me it plays like a completely different experience
Notable features:
Fight or Flight - Allows pokemon to attack the player or mobs
Cobblemore, Cobblemon unchained and Cobblemon challenge - Improvements to obtaining competitively viable pokemon
Pokenav - View pokemon spawns and cobblemon unchanged stats
Terralith, Wythers' Overhauled Overworld, Better End, Nyctophobia, Regions Unexplored and Terrestria support - Lots of new biomes with support for pokemon spawning in them
Cobblemon challenge - I think I added this correctly. Adds team preview and forces all pokemon to a set level during player battles
Features I couldn't add through modrinth:
- Data packs won't automatically add themselves to worlds - This is probably my fault but I can't find a way to do it. When you create a new world in the server or singleplayer, you have to take all items in the datapacks folder of the modpack and add them to the world's datapack folder
- Make sure the client has enough RAM, otherwise the resource packs probably won't load
Aim
I believe that using fakemon instead of pokemon provides a unique experience, as you get to discover, innovate and do all the other things that happen when a new generation of pokemon releases. Basically, you have no attachment to anything going in, everyone on the server experiences brand new things together and people can't meta game the server by building a team in Showdown (because trust me, people like me would do that)
