A modpack based around adding lots of cool addons the community made and quality of life features.

Differences from Type B

  • Instead of adding Fakemon, attempts to do as much with Pokemon as I could

  • Myths and legends - Introduces new spawn conditions for legendaries to make them unique

  • Breakouts - Adds outbreaks with more potential pokemon added by Basic Outbreaks

  • QLAPS - Adds (almost) all pokemon in the pokedex

    Ascention Megamons - Mega evolution (doesn't add all evolutions at the time of writing)

Notable features:

Fight or Flight - Allows pokemon to attack the player or mobs

Cobblemore, Cobblemon unchained and Cobblemon challenge - Improvements to obtaining competitively viable pokemon

Pokenav - View pokemon spawns and cobblemon unchanged stats

Terralith, Wythers' Overhauled Overworld, Better End, Nyctophobia, Regions Unexplored and Terrestria support - Lots of new biomes with support for pokemon spawning in them

Cobblemon challenge - I think I added this correctly. Adds team preview and forces all pokemon to a set level during player battles

QLAPS - Adds loads more pokemon spawns, but the Modrinth version is 7 months out of date (I've made some modifications but not enough for it to be classed as my pack so I can't upload it on Modrinth but it's included in the pack)

Please Read:

  • Data packs won't automatically add themselves to worlds - This is probably my fault but I can't find a way to do it. When you create a new world in the server or singleplayer, you have to take all items in the datapacks folder of the modpack and add them to the world's datapack folder

Aim

I've used this pack in a server with friends (apart from the biome mods), we expanded it as we went and this is what we ended up with. It's setup to allow people to make servers with it if they add the mods, data packs and config files to the server (at least it worked for me)

Side note, if the whole thing with QLAPS feels like an awkward solution, consider checking out https://modrinth.com/mod/generations-core. I haven't looked into it myself yet but I'm about to as of the time of uploading
