- The Night World is an extremely difficult version of the Overworld that is always night

- Wildling - Super jump, speed boost, fall damage resistance
- Mer - Fast swimming, clear vision under water, ability to collect and eat Seagrass
- Hellspawn - Immunity to fire and lava, can swim and see farther in lava, ignites entities on bare hand attack
- Voidthing - Blink ability (middle click by default), extended reach (does not apply to weapons)
- No Origin - No effect
- Currently 4 Origins are available, more will likely be added in the future. The four are:
- Overhauled death
- Dying now starts a countdown to respawning
- Dying now only results in a random percentage of your items being taken, unless they are Soulbound
- Dying now results in some of the player's XP being taken
- Overhauled difficulty
- Bosses are now significantly more difficult
- Some enemies are now significantly more difficult, but scale based on what dimension they most commonly appear in
- Melee weapon range improved across the board for shorter-range weapons
- Player move speed increased while swinging melee weapons
- Melee attack hitboxes now come out 50% faster
- These changes should ensure more melee weapons are viable, rather than the longest-range ones just being objectively the best
- Added Balanced Recall
- Adds magic mirror, allowing a quick teleport back to your spawn point
- Added a health gate mechanic, so if the player is above 12 hp they cannot die to to most damage that would otherwise be lethal, and will always survive on at least 1 hp. This also applies to fall damage.
- Some magic attacks, such as Mine Cells boss boundaries, can bypass this.

- Falling in the void in the Nether teleports the player to y=350
- Fall damage from this teleport is capped at 19

This is a totally new chapter of SAPMR that focuses more on combat and progression than ever before. Most prominent changes are:
- Movement! You can now slide, air-dive, and wall-run. Slide-jumping also gives a burst of speed, making it the new best way to traverse the world.
- Difficulty settings! Each mob now has a set difficulty, irrespective of where or what level you are. This increases per player by 20% for all stats. Lenient deaths are also no more; the death system is just like Vanilla.
- Progression! No longer are levels just basic stats, version 5 now uses the Simply Skills progression system.
- Ambience! Enjoy tons of new furniture, passive mobs, and structures.
- Spells! With Spellblades and Such, enjoy tons of new spellbooks to experiment with.
- Dimensions! Now with Mine Cells, and the Mirror dimension from Spellblades and Such.
- Trimmed fat! Removed features that were rarely/never used, or were confusing.

This update should be compatible with your existing worlds, if they are currently on V3.4.2L. Going forwards, it will be the goal to keep worlds compatible between versions, with resets only being necessary between major releases (ex. V4.0)
