Q: Why did you make this modpack?

A: I made Skypack as a way for new and returning Hypixel SkyBlock players to get started with a collection of useful SkyBlock, optimization, and quality-of-life mods without having to find and install everything individually.

Skypack was originally inspired by SkyClient after it was discontinued at the time I created this modpack. I really enjoyed SkyClient and wanted to make something with a similar idea for myself and others who enjoyed it.

Q: What mods should I configure?

A: This depends on your playstyle, but some of the mods you may want to configure include SkyBlock Profile Viewer (PV), SkyBlockAddons, BetterF3, SkyBlocker, and SkyHanni. Take some time to look through the settings and adjust them to your own preferences.

Q: How much FPS should I expect while using Skypack?

A: Performance depends heavily on your computer and Minecraft settings, so there isn't a guaranteed FPS range. Skypack includes several optimization mods to help with performance, but your results may vary.

For reference, my personal PC typically gets around 30–100 FPS depending on what I'm doing. My system uses an AMD Ryzen 5 3500 CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Super GPU, but your performance may be completely different depending on your hardware and settings.

Q: Why did you add so many random QOL mods?

A: I wanted Skypack to feel like more than just a collection of SkyBlock mods. Some of the QOL mods are things I personally enjoy, while others fit nicely into the overall pack and make Minecraft more convenient.

Q: Why did you add Replay Mod?

A: Replay Mod is mainly included for people who want to record or create content. It can also be useful for reviewing gameplay or capturing moments without needing to record everything live.

Q: What mods are the most important?

A: There isn't one specific set of mods that everyone needs. It depends on your playstyle and what you want from Skypack.

If your computer struggles with the full pack, you can remove any mods you don't need and keep the ones that are most useful to you. Some of the more SkyBlock-focused mods include SkyHanni, SkyBlocker, SkyBlockAddons, SkyBlock Profile Viewer (PV), Custom Scoreboard, and Catharsis.

Q: How long will you maintain Skypack?

A: Hopefully for as long as I can and as long as Hypixel SkyBlock continues receiving updates. I can't guarantee that I'll be able to maintain it forever, but I'll do my best to keep Skypack updated while I'm able to.

Q: Do you take community requests or feedback?

A: Yes! I'm open to feedback, suggestions, and requests. If there's something you think would improve Skypack, feel free to reach out and let me know.

I can't guarantee that every suggestion will be added, but I'll take them into consideration.

Q: Will you create a Discord server for Skypack?

A: Currently, I don't have plans to create a dedicated Skypack Discord server. Maybe in the future, depending on how the project grows and what the community wants.

Q: Is Skypack affiliated with SkyClient?

A: No. Skypack is an independent project created by a member of the Hypixel SkyBlock community. It was inspired by SkyClient after SkyClient was discontinued, but it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a replacement for SkyClient.
