Details
This is a simple modpack that has the required mods to get Patrix resource pack running CORRECTLY on Fabric with Iris and Sodium, and some basic performance mods to help with your fps.
It's already set up for a quick & easy install with pre-configured settings to get connected textures fully working (no Enable Connected Textures message on blocks) and also coloured wool, terracotta and concrete. As Colormatic is only available for Minecraft up to version 1.19.2, the version for 1.19.4 uses Bismuth by AluTheCrow that recolours tinted blocks correctly. The 1.20.1 version uses a workaround/patch until a Colormatic replacement that works correctly is available (probably Vanadium). For 1.20.2 and up, Colormatic is no longer required, the individual coloured blocks are included in the RP.
Use this as supplied or build on it by adding compatible mods (performance or QoL) to the basic ones required. Or, if you are a subscriber to Patrix's Patreon, you can replace the 32x for one of the higher res packs (please don't try the 256x unless you have a high spec PC and top-end GPU with >16Gb VRAM (will not work with AMD GPU due to atlas size limitation, not even most recent ones, no)
You can find higher res or free older versions on Patrix's patreon

Why use this modpack?
Basically, the simplicity of one install (as a starting point), using mods to get Optifine parity - available for 1.19.4 for now, until Vanadium mod is working correctly with Continuity for newer versions. Included is the free version of Patrix (32x) which is block & item complete (except Armour Trims). This pack loads Basic (with all mobs currently completed by Patrix), addon pack (for what it does, see text doc inside the .zip file), Models pack and the Bonus pack is included but not loaded as most of the textures are not for regular gameplay. Patrix Mobs also includes custom animations by FreshLX I've also included Fresh Animations to make other Vanilla mobs tie in better. (requires the inlcuded mods EMF & ETF to work) Fast Better Grass by robotkoer Gives Fast Grass equivalent from OptiFine but keeps grass connected, unlike LambdaBetterGrass
Please see main listing for Patrix resource pack for more info and for Specific Pack load order if swapping out 32x RP files for higher res pack.
Shaders
These shaders are included with thanks to the individual owners for permissions, links in description. Settings for these are have been included, all set up with recommended normals, POM & emissives as intended for Patrix and set to 32x - please do not contact the shader owner for any setting issues, contact Patrix Discord
Included shaders
- Bliss shader by X0nk An Edit of Chocapic13's Shaders with realistic daily weather, seasons, border fog and other effects with great fps, set up for low to medium spec PC using SSAO, try RTAO/SSGI in Ambient Light settings (for those with better PC specs).
- Complementary Reimagined shader by EminGT Ideal for low-medium spec PCs, set up with custom Unbound settings for realistic clouds. If you encounter any shader issues, please contact the Patrix discord, not EminGT.
- Kappa shader by RRe36 set up for a medium spec PC with realistic clouds, GI lighting and labPBR textures. (not the PT version, see RRe36 discord/Patreon for access)
- Nostalgia shader by RRe36 set up for a medium spec PC with stylised vanilla clouds, border fog, realistic lighting and labPBR textures. (not the VX version, see RRe36 discord/Patreon for access)
- Photon shader by sixthsurge Only available on GitHub for now, realistic shader using Floodfill & Volumetric lighting but ideal for gameplay as it uses Advasnced Temporal upscaling for lower spec devices. (POM currently turned off due to bug with block grid/outlines)
- Shrimple shader by Null A versatile shader that attempts to maintain a minimal "vanilla" aesthetic, while adding some optional features with great fps, set up for a low to medium spec PC using Path Traced lighting for accuracy and immersiveness, use the inbuilt presets for lower spec/simpler settings.
- UShader shader by RRe36 A recreation of a modified version of SEUS v10.1 matching some of the unique looks the SEUS version, but using none of the code. A more up-to-date shader if you want the looks of SEUS.
- Soft Voxels Lite shader by RRe36 The free edition of Soft Voxels Shaderpack, which intends to be a minimalistic and rather performant shaderpack that relies on voxels and path-tracing to give you some fast yet good looking lighting. This obviously also includes proper colored lighting from various emitters. As there is no actual shadowmap the direct light from sun and moon is rather soft, giving the pack its signature overcast outdoor-looks.
