Skyblock Enhanced: Modern Edition brings you an all-in-one modpack for playing Hypixel Skyblock on the newest Minecraft version. After the success of Skyblock Enhanced [Hypixel], with over 35,000 downloads, I built the best set of mods to play Hypixel Skyblock in Minecraft 1.21.

Play with better FPS and get ready for the upcoming Hypixel Forging Update.

🔔 Important Notes (Read Before Installing!)

  • 📢 You must add the -Xss4M JVM Arg for Hypixel Plus to load. More info on how to add below.
  • 📢 Allocate Sufficient RAM: Assign at 4GB of RAM to Minecraft for smooth gameplay. 2GB can lead to stuttering and lag.

⚙️ Pre-configured for Optimal Game Play

SkyBlock Enhanced features fine-tuned configurations for all included mods, ensuring they work together seamlessly and preventing on-screen clutter from overlapping GUIs.

Automatic Configuration: PackCore manages settings for different screen resolutions (1440p and 1080p).

  • First Launch: You'll be prompted to select the best configuration for your screen.
  • Resetting: To reset, go to PackCore Configs in the main menu, enable Ask To Set Default Config, and restart. (Warning: This will overwrite your current settings!)
✨How to install
Using Modrinth App (Recommended)
  1. Download and install the Modrinth App, you can find the official install here.
  2. When you have the app open, click Discover Content on the left side bar.
  3. Search SkyBlock Enhanced – Modern Edition
  4. Click ⤓ Install Image of the modrinth app with red arrows at the place you should click
  5. The modpack will now install.
  6. Once installed, go to |||\ "Library" and you will find the Modpack instance, click it. Image of the modrinth app and red arrows at where you should click

Using Prism Launcher
  1. Click Add Instance
  2. Select Modrinth tab from the left
  3. Search SkyBlock Enhanced – Modern Edition
  4. Select SkyBlock Enhanced – Modern Edition
  5. Click OK
  6. The modpack will now install.
  7. Once installed, double-click the icon to play.
Add more RAM for fewer lag spikes and better FPS
  1. Open the Modrinth App
  2. Click the gear icon in the bottom left
  3. Find Default instance options
  4. Find Memory Allocated

Important! Making the Hypixel+ Resource Pack Work

To get the Hypixel Plus resource pack (which adds custom textures for Skyblock items) working, you need to add a JVM argument:

How to add JVM arguments in the Modrinth App
  1. Open the instance page of your modpack after downloading.
  2. Click the gear icon near the top right of your screen. Image of icon with an arrow of where to click

  4. Check the box for “Custom Java Arguments” and paste -Xss4M in the box. Image of the Java and memory tab with the Custom Java Argument box selected and written inside it
  5. Close the window and click “Play.”

Can't see the latest update in the Modrinth app. Follow this.

In the Modrinth App, click the Settings icon in the bottom left corner -> Resource management -> Purge cache. Then close and restart the app; the update button should now be visible on your Instance page.

Key Features

  • Improved Performance
    Sodium, combined with other performance mods, provides higher FPS and fewer frame drops compared to Optifine on 1.8.9. You’ll see fewer frame drops and higher FPS compared to older versions.

  • Large Selection of Skyblock Features
    You get most of the features from the original Skyblock Enhanced [Hypixel] modpack on 1.8.9, but now updated for 1.21. And as mod authors port their mods to 1.21, the selection of Skyblock mods will just get better!
