This is a modpack meant to minimize modded content while also retaining the vanilla aspect of the game.
Why use it?/Why yours specifically?
Our modpack is meant for a boosted vanilla experience while also being able to run smoothly and to relive vanilla minecraft with some added content. Although it includes items/features that are not in the base game, the modded content is there to boost your vanilla experience and make it overall better!
Features:
- Performance ->(Sodium, Lithium, etc.)
- QoL(Quality of Life) ->(Inventory sorting, Customizable HUDS, Vanilla Refresh, and alot of other fun things!)
- Mods ->(Backpacks, Dog Overhaul, Minimap, Decorations, and other mods that improve the game experience!)
Mainly Optional Features (Turn these off if you don't want them! mainly due to these being a bit more controversial)
- Enchanting Infuser, Enderchests(look in mod list below), Easier villager trading, Infinite villager trading, Respawning shulkers, shulker drops two, Crying Ghast, All of the Decoration mods (for people who want just vanilla)
- Reminder: These are simply mods that we thought would be a bit more controversial to include, feel free to turn these off. If you want to disable other mods that weren't listed, feel free too.
Crucial stuff:
- This is a FABRIC MODPACK, we don't have plans to create another version based on something like forge
- Since this is a customizable mod, we recommend seeing what mods you would like to include during your gameplay and how to customize. (Essentially, this modpack is a template for your imagination)
- We do include content mods (backpacks, overhauls, etc) and plan on adding more features which will rely on a server to include
- This modpack is in a fairly new version and will come into some issue/bugs, if these occur go to the issues page
- The issue page isn't the greatest since we're new to github but we'll make it work (promise :P)
- Any stable release that is published will be featured. Alphas and betas will have bugs and will be more prone to crashing
- After version 1.0.18, There will be more mods that add decorations and other types of 'Modded content'. After 20 or so versions, we wanted to add more things to immerse ourselves into the game and to also add things that add a bit more fun to the game. We will update version 1.0.18 so it will have better performance if we find anything (Expect these to have the 1.0.18 format but with added numbers, these will also be released as betas ex. 1.0.18.1 as a beta release)
- Versions 1.1 and above are versions meant for my server and friends
How to Install:
You can find documentation on how to install modpacks on multiple launchers here (Heads up: some launchers will not support modpacks from modrinth and/or support importing vice versa)
Q&A
Q: What Mods are included A: Check the mod list below
Q: Can I recommend stuff? A: Go for it, just use the Issues Page
Q: (As of November 21st, 2023) Why is Essential crashing my game when I press the buttons? A: This is due to how the dependency system works on modrinth and will try to install dependencies for essential automatically. The file made from this system will actually cause some buttons on essential to break and will crash the game on press. To stop the crashing, disable the essential dependencies.jar file in the instance's content tab.
Promises:
- Debugging
- Semi-consistent updates (There will be jumps in version numbering because everytime we make test version for friends, we usually attempt new mods and debug some during testing. Hence why there will be gaps in version numbers due to tested versions that don't work)
-Mainly made for a group of friends, but feel free to use it!
Mod List: (This will be updated to the best of our ability) As in whenever we feel like it
As of Version 1.0.24 this is updated
