Shady's Vanilla+ Forever Pack is a carefully curated client-side modpack designed to enhance your vanilla Minecraft experience while ensuring full compatibility with forever worlds (meaning client-side only mods with no world generation or other game altering changes). This pack focuses on quality-of-life improvements, visual enhancements, and small tweaks that make the game feel smoother and more immersive—all without altering the core gameplay or affecting multiplayer servers.

✅ Improved Performance – Optimized rendering and FPS-boosting mods for a smoother experience.

✅ Enhanced Visuals – Use of shaders (Complementary Unbound included) and resource packs to improve the vanilla look. Patrix32x resource pack also included (disabled by default) for a more stylized look.

✅ Quality of Life Upgrades – Better tooltips, and UI enhancements to streamline gameplay.

✅ Vanilla-Friendly Tweaks – Features like zoom and minor fixes that feel like they belong in Minecraft.

Important Information and Tips

  • Distant Horizons mod can cause decreased performance, especially during startup of a world. It may also disable some other performance mods that are not compatibile with DH. After chunks are rendered (can take several minutes) performance should increase. If performance is an issue for you, you can either tweak the settings for this mod, or disable it entirely.
  • Complementary Unbound is a shader that is installed by default. Select it from the options menu to enable it.
